The Letter ch. 20
The Letter
Chapter 20
Knowing that everything in my life was being turned upside down by people that I had never met was very disheartening but having all the girls here to support me helped so much. I can’t believe that Alice was able to keep the information that Trisha gave her secret until it was needed. It was wonderful seeing Trisha again but that feeling was something that wasn’t overshadowed by how wonderful it was having Tina here with me. It was like seeing someone that I hadn’t seen in a long time and that I missed but I had no longing for her. I think that in seeing her, I knew finally that I was moving beyond Trisha and it was a good yet bittersweet feeling.
I had heard about Joyce Wischnia throughout the years as an attorney who was on the cutting edge of getting change throughout the gay and lesbian community. Had I not been in such shock, her name may have come to me but I was happy that Tina had found her and was able to make an appointment with her. I really wanted her to go with me to the appointment but Tina made a good point when she said that it would probably be better for Alice to go. Alice had a longstanding history with the Warrens’ and she knew intimately the wishes that Trisha had for me to care for the children.
I went to Tina in the kitchen because I wanted her to know that she was a part of this. She may not have known Trisha and I believe she left to give us all a moment together but she was the person who I was in love with and who was in my life. That made her as much a part of things as the rest of the girls. To hear Tina tell me that she loves me was one of the best feelings that I’ve experienced in a long time. Standing in my kitchen with so much drama occurring around us was not the venue that I had envisioned us expressing our love for one another but I would take it that way or any other way. To say it back to her without hesitation, I knew that she was the one for me. Sitting with my family as we discussed everything that was happening, they could see it too. They had not seen me so comfortable with anyone since Trisha. I was never as comfortable with Jodi. I know had the situation been anything different, Alice would have teased me to no end but even she knew that the situation did not allow for something like that.

You are the best – I love everybody in your story except the evil grandparents. I waited for this story all day – it is so great to this wonderful escape to enjoy and relax with, thanks for all your work that makes it available to all .
Oh damn…just a couple more days until your friends come back! I am so hooked on your stuff…you are like an addictive drug to me. This is a really, really, really good story!
Hi NAG, no honey I don’t just have disdain for them I HATE them with a purple passion. All my yrs. with the Court, I have seen people just like them and it isn’t pretty. Loved the chapter and love Joyce. She is wild but ver good at what she does. i have all the faith in her abilities with your writing, of course. And Tina, well..there is no comparison is there. Her love for Bette says it all and she will be invaluable with this situation and with the girls as well, I just know it. Thanks for posting. PPS
Joyce is going to help them out a lot. So Joyce has little crush on Helena, that should be interesting. I love how the entire gang is standing together and how they have brought Tina right along with them.
So Joyce has a little crush on Helena. She is going to be so good against the so called grandparents. I am excited how the whole gang is standing with Bette and the girls. I am also excited that they have included Tina into the equation.
Joyce to the rescue! I’m suddenly feeling much better about this, and loved the way the framily closed ranks and sprung into action. Let’s shut these SOBs down before they start!….PPS.
Even though Joyce is comitted to this case Helena might have to take one for the team just to keep her on her toes. I hope we get to the bottom of this mystery before the girls need to be involved at all. PS
of there is something going? afterall this time they suddenly want to see the kids? WTF…anyway i’m sure joyce will take care of them… and as was pointed out i doubt they have any chance since they have never meet the kids..i would think the judge would be on drugs to let that happen! i’m glad tina is there for bette and she will be a huge supporter as this shit w/ trish’s parents progresses… had a good laugh about bette staying in the tent. i’m the same way! :)PPS
sorry about your car troubles and expenses, hope all is well on that front. I couldn’t do without my car. Great that Bette has her framily around her and the acceptance for Tina. Mystery surrounds the grandparents sudden intervention after all this time. Doubtlessly Joyce and Helena will come to the rescue. Keep the children safe and happy…family strife is so destructive on children…post when u can cuz I’m right into this story.Looking for the other one this weekend to.
i loved joyce in the show… and now shes in heat with helena… at least iys not tina… anyway… love this story… and bring on the grand parents
Glad your car troubles are over and that’s out of the way of your writing. Can’t wait for the next chappie!!
Finally got caught up with this great story … PPS!!!
