The Earth – The Year 3011

The planet had changed over the last 1000 years, and not in a good way. Every right people died for, was taken away when 500 years ago, a family, the Prestons got the power over the USA. They changed the republic into an empire and used their military power to rule over a big world empire. The Emperor at that time, Achneraton, began making immense changes.

First thing he changed was the right for women to vote, work, have property and they couldn’t even drive anymore. He thought women were less than men were.

Then he took away the right for people of different colors or the same sex to get married to one another.

He decided that everyone should have the same religion, which was called Prestonism. It was basically a religion designed to idolize the Emperor and his family.

He also said that when a child didn’t have any parents anymore, it should be killed because it only cost money. Millions of kids had died because of that law in the most horrible ways.

He also made a standard of what a decent human being was: religious (Prestonism), white, married (when they were over 18), straight and blond. Achneraton was a man that was afraid of anything or anyone that was different from him. Because of those standards, people were divided in six groups.People that were none of those things to people that met all the rules. The people that were in the lowest groups didn’t live for long. They got killed. There were only a few people that were totally ‘okay’ in the eyes of Achneraton.

His son, Cormac, decided to add some more new rules. Only people of the same ‘group’ could marry each other if they had the same skin color and were straight, off course.

Adoption was not possible anymore because his father had introduced the law that orphans had to be killed. Women weren’t allowed to give their babies up or get an abortion, but Cormac also decided that people that were infertile had to be punished and couldn’t get married because in his eyes, that had no point, they could never have kids so why get married?
