    NEW YORK MINUTE

    CHAPTER 64

    “I think we might have a problem “

    Tina said to Bette as she met her in the front lobby of the apartment. Bette had been working late and it was almost 7pm when she arrived home. She had been in touch with Tina several times during the day – this was one of the first days when Tina had spent almost all of the day with Shane and Bette had been left to get on with her business since the whole mess had started between Tina and her sister.

    “Hello darling “ Bette replied removing her jacket and looking at the blonde

    Tina smiled and took Bette by the waist and kissed her softly

    “Hello yourself – you okay ?”

    “I am fine – its been a long day and I am looking forward to seeing my favourite females – all four of you “

    “Nice vote of confidence for Sheba “

    “I am fond of her “

    “You like to pretend that its all out war between the two of you “

    “She thinks she is the boss “

    “No babe – she knows she is the boss”

    “The difference is that I have the power to take her to vet and have her snipped and she doesn’t”

    “Just as well really “

    Bette laughed “So who do we have problems with – Shane or Sheba or our daughter ?”

    “The latter “

    “Do tell “

    “She has discovered that New York is thinking about legalising gay marriage “

    “Yes – I was following that story most of the day – its being voted on tomorrow night”

    “Exactly – apparently one of her chums – Matthew has two dads and they have said that they will get married on the first day that it is legal for them to – so he will be off school that day”

    Bette smiled “And Angie wants a day off ? “

    “Not as much as she wants us to get married “

    “What did you say to this nugget from our 5 year old daughter ?”

    “I told her that it wasn’t legal yet “

    “Its sad that you clinging onto it not being made legal “

    “I know – Shane told her that it was something for you and I to decide”

    16. Okay so I’ve read of your chapters here and there and I was like man I gotta read the whole story. So I went back and tried to read the L Wing which is amazing by the way but after so many chapters I was like omg there’s like 400 I’ll never catch up. So I’ve spent the last month reading this one and I have finally caught up!!! I love it! Please do continue, now I will try to catch up on is this love? Lol it will take me forever lol
