    first scan

    “Hey You” Taylor smiled “You excited?”

     

    “A little” Jacqui smiled

    “Where’s Amy?”

     

    “I think she’s forgotten” Jacqui sighed “She’s been busy at the centre”

     

    “How you been?” Taylor asked

     

    “Yeah good thanks” Jacqui smiled

    “Ok you ready?” Taylor asked

     

    Amy knocked on the door before entering.

    “I am so sorry I’m late baby, the meeting went longer than I thought” Amy explained

     

    “Don’t worry about it, I thought you forgot” Jacqui replied

    “Don’t be silly, I wouldn’t miss this for the world” Amy smiled taking Jacqui’s hand

     

    Taylor turned on the machine. Poured the Gel and got on with the examination. Her facial expression changed.

     

    “Jacqui I just need to get Ashley a second” Taylor said

     

    “Why what’s wrong?” Jacqui asked concerned

    “Just give me a minute” Taylor said leaving the cubicle

     

    Amy sat on the bed with Jacqui.

     

     

    Taylor found Ashley.

     

    “Ashley I need to borrow you for a second” Taylor stated

     

    “I’m busy just now”

     

    “No really I need you with me, it’s Jacqui”

    “What about her?” Ashley said concerned

     

    “I just did another scan and things don’t look good”

    Ashley dropped what she was doing and followed Taylor.

    “Right what is going on?” Jacqui snapped “Don’t feed me shit, I’m a doctor too you know”

     

    Amy looked concerned; she didn’t really know what to say she just held Jacqui’s hand tight.

     

    “Do a blood test?” Ashley instructed

    “Ashley what is going on?” Jacqui asked getting frustrated

     

    “Nothing babe just chill out just now” Ashley said studying the screen

     

    Amy kissed Jacqui’s head.

     

    “Have you had headaches recently?” Ashley asked

    “Yeah and she’s been feeling dizzy” Amy answered

     

    “Why didn’t you tell me?” Ashley asked

     

    “I just thought I’d been working too much” Jacqui admitted

     

    “Is something wrong?” Amy panic’d

     

    “I need to do a CT scan as well” Ashley said to Taylor

    “Ok Ashley you’re now scaring me what the fuck is going on?” Jacqui snapped

     

    “Babe I cant be sure yet, but something is wrong I’m not going to lie” Ashley explained

    “Like what?” Amy asked

     

    “What you looking for?” Jacqui asked

    “Ovarian Cancer” Ashley stated
