A Tibette Beginning

Chapter 18

Previously…

They crawled into bed together, quickly finding each other in the middle. Their arms quickly enveloped the other and held each other tight as they drift off to dreamland. A place they had been together several time before, but never like this never in the arms of the woman in their dreams.

“I love you T”

“I love you too baby.”

Those were the only words exchanged as the women feel into a deep sleep.

Morning came and Bette awoke to the sounds of the birds chirping outside her window. A smile grew across her face as she realized that it was not another dream… this time she would not wake to find her arms empty… Tina did not disappear when she opened her eyes. She was very much there resting peacefully in Bette’s arms. The most beautiful sight she had ever seen. She laid there holding Tina her mind replaying the events of the past days. Wondering to herself how her life could take such a turn in such a short time. There was no denying her feelings for the angel sleeping in her arms, and she didn’t want to. For a reason beyond her understanding Tina made her feel like she could do anything, if she could only convince her mind of what her heart knew. The one thing she did know is that her life was changing, she was changing and Tina Kennard was the reason for it.

Tina’s alarm rang out alerting her to a new day, she quickly realized it was a day she would rather not have to face. She rolled over and saw her cell laying on the bed next to her. Her mind quickly fled back to her phone call with Bette the night before. Going home after only one night in her arms had been so hard, but talking to her on the phone and saying goodnight to her right before going to sleep had made it a little easier. Tina flipped her phone open… she had to see Bette, and the photograph of the two of them together she had as the wallpaper on her phone would have to do for the moment. Tina reflected on the perfection of the picture for a moment, they both looked so happy, like they belong together. She couldn’t wait to get the picture enlarged for her nightstand. Tina reluctantly rolled out of bed to face the day.
