Chapter 28

Dana was engrossed in her macro economics homework, munching on a bag of carrots as she highlighted important information at The Planet.
“Hi Dana,” Tina greeted, hoping she wasn’t interrupting too much.
Dana quickly popped her head up at the sound of her friend’s voice and smiled saying, “Hey T!” She began making room on the table for the blonde to join her, “Great timing, I could use a break from all these numbers and charts.”
“I didn’t mean to interrupt you. I just saw you and thought I’d say hi,” Tina explained taking a seat across from the athlete. “I thought you normally studied at your apartment or library?”
“Yeah they are doing some construction work on my street and the noise was driving me nuts. No matter how hard I tried I couldn’t block it out. But, I have a dinner thing tonight so I didn’t want to drive all the way to campus…. So I figured since The Planet is normally so busy during this time a day, I’d just study here.”
“A dinner thing? As in a date,” Tina questioned leaning forward in anticipation of good gossip?
Dana rolled her eyes but before she could respond someone beat her to it.
“Yeah, if you mean by ‘date’ Dana playing Harriet to Harrison’s Ozzie,” Alice said sitting down and placing her sunglasses on the table. “Or are you Ozzie and Harrison, Harriet?”
Scowling slightly, Dana’s only response was to give Alice the finger.
“You’re going on a straight date with Harrison,” Tina said, trying to hold in the chuckle that threatened to escape at the thought of the two gayest people on earth trying to pass as a straight couple.
Dana noticed her friend struggling and that only made her scowl turn into a deep frown.
“It’s not funny,” the athlete said before turning her head back to her textbooks.
“Come on Dane. Don’t be that way. You know we are just messing around with you,” Alice said.
“Yeah, Dana, I want to know more about this dinner thing. Are you meeting with potential sponsors,” Tina asked?
Dana looked backed up and replied, “Conrad’s firm is having this huge dinner for all the sponsors of their current clients. A lot of important people are going to be there and I have to make a good impression.”

Great update, anionayo!! I understand Alice’s frustration, but, she could have said it in a less confrontational manner. I am so glad she went after Dana and that Dana heard her out. The whole “hotdog stand” conversation was so funny. I think Dana knows that Alice has her best interests at heart. You continue to write Dana’s journey in a very real way. Thanks!!

D falling off the bed was pretty funny. Her interaction with the guard Jim was very genuine. I also like A’s P.A. Julie. That’s an asset to A. Looking forward to the interview. uhhuh is right, please don’t cancel it. I also like to point out that I don’t recall A & D were both reporters concurrently in different fanfics like yours and uhhuh’s “Danish: Breathless.” Therefore, this is a very exciting time. Hey Anionayo :D I have finally caught up with your story and can i just i LOVE it so much. As many ppl have sed before me u reli do write the girls almost perfectly wait no perfectly u really do it amazes me how well u write them :) I love the journey ur taking the girls thru as well very real. And as for this last update boy both Al and Dana were snappy today, Al didnt need to be like tht but it only bcus she cares. I guess i second everything other ppl have sed so i wont write wat u have already read haha :) Thnks for a fab story and cant wait for more PPS :) xxx P.S Sorry agen for missing Danish Day :(
HelllOOoo A! Wow. I really wish that Dana didnt have to ‘hide’ but i guess i can understand, at least Al is there for her even though she doesnt agree. So its going to be team H&D? LoL I can only imagine what those two will be like together….hopefully Dana will get some stuff sorted out in her head and figure out how and when she will follow her true self.
