The two girls waited at the cross walk for the car to drive
by, and they proceeded to walk across the cross walk,
Spencer began to skip causing Ashley to laugh. The two girls
got to the range rover and hopped in, the brunette turned on
the heat as soon as she started the car.

“I’ve never just gone into Border’s and hung out”
Spencer exclaimed
Ashley turned to her “Sometimes I like to be deep, it’s
fun right?” she said
“Yeah, so much, thanks for bringing me along” she
replied
“Anytime” she said

The girls popped in the new CD that Spencer bought and
rocked out to it back to campus. They parked in the parking
lot and began to walk back, Spencer’s phone vibrated in
her pocket.

“So then I was like…” Ashley was saying
“Wait, one second” she said as she pulled out her
blackberry “Hey, what’s up?…umm walking back from the
parking lot why?… oh no…okay yeah I’ll meet you in
front of the 5s, alright bye” she said and hung up
“Is everything okay?” Ashley asked concerned
“What? Oh yeah, I just have to go to this event with the
pledges I completely forgot about, I’m sorry” she
replied
“No, don’t worry about it have fun” Ashley said

Spencer turned to start walking towards the 5s
“Listen…what are you doing later?” she asked
“oh um I think I’m going to watch see a movie with
Tracey” she replied
“Oh, alright then” she said visibly upset

Ashley cringed.

“I mean, it’s not set in stone, I haven’t talked to
her yet” she replied
“Oh okay, I was just thinking that if you were free that
we could finish get dinner or rent a movie” Spencer
replied a little more hopeful
“Oh yeah, that sounds like more fun then Tracey so I’ll
text you later and let you know?” she replied
“Okay, awesome” Spencer said cheerily “Thanks again
for today” she replied before running off.

Ashley was already on the phone calling her friend to let
her know that she had a change of plans and she would have
to reschedule.
