3 months….

We were walking back to the house hand in hand and neither of us could stop smiling and she kept looking at her finger

“is it ok?” I asked her

“it’s perfect…I can’t get over it…” she told me “…I mean, you proposed…” she said smiling and excited

“and you said yes” I said

“I know!” she exclaimed jumping in front of me and giving me a kiss

“I cannot wait to marry you Spencer Carlin…” I said with my arms around her waist

“and I can’t wait to marry you” she said kissing me again

Eventually we got back to the house and walked in and her parents were in the kitchen

“mom! Dad!” Spencer yelled and we walked in there

“in the kitchen girls!” her mom yelled and we walked in and Spencer had a huge smile on her face thinking her parents had no idea at all

“ok I can’t take it anymore…” her dad started “…what’d she say?” he asked me

“ask her yourself…” I said

“what’d you say Spence?” he asked then she held up her hand showing them the ring

“I’ll guess you said yes!” her mom exclaimed coming over and hugging us both

“wait…how’d you two know?” Spencer asked them

“this is so unlike me…but, I kind of asked you dad first…if I could propose…” I admitted

“aw…ash that’s so cute!” Spencer exclaimed kissing me again

“yeah well…I have my days…” I replied

“so…wedding? I’m excited!” her mom said hugging us again “but you two have your alone time because this is huge!” she said then we both ran off up stairs and laid in her bed kissing each other until I pulled away

“so two months huh?” she asked me

“yep…two months…”

“what made you propose ash?” she asked

“one day it just clicked…like seriously randomly on a Wednesday I just realized how much I want to be with you for the rest of my life…” I told her and she lifted her head kissing me

“you know what’s weird?” she asked

“what’s that?” I asked

“three years ago…at this very moment I never ever would have guessed we’d be engaged…like at that time we were just best friends…you know?” she explained
