Heather has been performing since she was 19-years-old but not many people knew her as a musician. When she appeared on Lip Service and the show got a big following and suddenly everyone realized that she was also a musician and the series pretty much launched her music career as well. She’s not signed with any label or company, which means she can play what she wants, she can produce what she wants and she’s putting her second album out all by herself.

Since she ended filming of the Lip Service Heather has been offered a few scripts but most are not very bright. One of the offers was a small role on one of UK’s longest running soaps, Coronation Street, which Heather didn’t take. Another was a role of a lesbian detective on another series but Heather thought Lip Service was enough. Her sexuality has not really affected what roles she’s been offered because she still gets mainstream roles offers.

Heather couldn’t tell us any spoilers from the second season of Lip Service but she did say that Sam has a more prominent role and there are a few new characters. Second season is expected to be released in March, 2012 because there’s a lot involved in the release but it will be worth the wait because it’s a lot better than season one.
