    Author Notes:

    Alice and Bette talk and George spends some time in jail.

    Bette tried to go after Tina as she walked away but Alice grabbed her arm and pulled her pack.

    Alice: “What the ***** Porter!. What the ***** is going on with you?” she said waving her arms in the air.

    Shane watched Tina drive away then turned her attention to Alice’s question also wanted to know the turth.

    Bette: “I don’t ***** know….I fucked up…I fucked up big. Is that want you want to hear?” she said putting a hands on her hips.

    Alice: “I don’t need to hear what I already know. You need to fix this. First things first, you need to get rid of Candice…fast. George can’t keep getting arrested every time she comes around.” she said searching for her keys. “speaking of which I guess I should go spring her from the joint.”

    Shane: “Yeah, i’ve got some business to attend to as well” sahe said as she put a hand on Bette’s shouler and gave her a lost expression and a small nod. She waved to Alice and jogged over to her truck and drove off.

    Bette: “I guess I will come with you, seeing as though its my fault shes there.”

    Alice: “Yeah..ok….whatever…lets go.” she said motioning towards the car.

    Meanwhile…George and Candice were placed in cells oposite eachother. George was laying down on the bed with her legs crossed and her hands behind her bed. She was wisteling when the guard walked by.

    Guard: “Keep it down.” she said tapping of the bars.

    George quickly got up and walked over and leaned on the bars right in front of the guard.

    George: “So how long am I going to be in here?” she asked as she looked at her elbow noticing a scrape. “oh..*****, well thats nice” she said to herself.

    Guard: “Unitll soneone comes to get you” she said as she walked away.

    George stepped back and then looked at Candice who was leaning up against the wall of her cell.

    George: “Seriously…you need to walk away from this. She has no desire in being with you. Her and Tina have been together for a long time, they were trying to have a baby.” Candice just turned her back to George and continued leaning up against the wall. “Eh you could care less…I don’t usually resort to violence but if you pull that ***** again im not going to hold back.” she was about to say something else when the guard interupted her. “Hey shorty, your times up lets go. You too.” she said unlocking both cells.

    George was the first to reach civilization. She saw Alice and Bette standing by the counter.

    Alice: “Hey street fighter, hope they weren’t to hard on you” she said with a chuckle

    George: “Yeah, this place is a drag. Let’s get out of here.”

    Candice walked through door and saw Bette standing there. She thaught Bette had come to get her and headed strait for her but George stopped her before she could take a step.

    George: “Really?! You better check yourself.” then Alice butted in “Before you wreck yourself” she said then looked at George as if they were her way of backing her up” George looked at Alice and continued to say “She didn’t come here for you.”

    Bette didn’t look at her, she just turned to walk away.

    Alice: “Alright, lets go. Come on George” she said as she grabbed her arm and dragged her to the door.

    In the car on the way to the station Bette and Alice came to an understanding. Bette came clean and told her everything that was going on. Alice felt more sorry for her than mad at this point. She knew her friend needed help. The three sat in scilence on the way back to The Planet. Alice pulled up to Bette’s car. George got out to let Bette out of the back seat.

    Bette: “Im sorry” she said to George as she took a deep breath.

    Alice: “Hey Bette?” she said as she leaned over the seat to talk. “I’ll call you later…so answer your phone”

    Bette noded and proceded to her car.
