Bette’s Side

I know that Tina will take me somewhere where the setting is so romantic and peaceful but then as she said that we are almost there I began to question her.

I am looking at a place surrounded by trees and tall grasses and I would not be surprise if I’ve learned that we are the first person who got here. The place looks like a jungle! Everywhere I look there’s a tree or plant of some sort.

"Are you sure baby? Cause I don’t think that a single man has ever been here before." I said as I continued to examine the place.

A few minutes later Tina said that we had arrived to our destination. She quickly got out of the car and she went on my side to open the door for me.

"Oh my!" I exclaimed as I find it terribly cute for her to do that.

She extended her hand and I took it. She led me to this passage and we walk for a while and what I saw took my breath away.

As we started walking through the path that will lead to our destination I began to tell the story of how I discovered this place.

"My officemate recommended this place. She said that her husband took her here and she said that she fell in love with her husband more after they left this place." I said as I continued our walk. "And I thought to myself that I should check this out.. and I did a couple of days ago. and I must say that I have the same expression as you did a while ago."

Bette just smiled with my remark.

"She said that the wonderful thing about this place is that nobody will ever think of the beauty that this place has and if you just happen to passed by this place you probably won’t take time to admire this and that is what’s so wonderful about this place. Not many people know about this. Which means that this place is quiet.. peaceful.. and private."

Bette gave me a wink as she heard me say the word ‘private’.

"And I thought that that would be the turning point for me to love this place but then I saw what’s inside and I was breatheless." I finished talking as we reached the end of the path.

I just initially saw the house, a fair-sized house and I didn’t saw anything beyond that.. but after a while I realized that if you look beyond the house you could see a beach. "Who would have thought that there is a beach in here?!" I thought to myself as I begin to fall in love woth this place.

"Oh my god! Baby, it’s beautiful!" I exclaimed as I walked towards the house. "Who would have thought?"

"I know baby.. I never expected for this place to be this good." Bette said.

"Is that a yacht in there?" I asked Tina as I saw something that looks like a yacht.

"Yes." I said as she saw one of my surprises for her.

"I am now ashamed to tell you what I had plan for this day." I said as my eyes were still attached to the yacht.

"So my plan was alright?" Tina said as I saw her blush a little.

"Alright?!" I asked her. "Baby I don’t know if I can even compete with this. This is awesome!"

"Great! I was hoping you’ll react this way." Tina said as she pulled me closer.

"Happy anniversary baby." Tina said as she place a soft kiss on my lips.

"I love you.." I said as brushed her cheeks. "Happy anniversary."
