    Bette had let out all those pent up emotions instead of hiding it in and cheating on Tina?

    “Come on T,” Bette said grabbing Tina’s arm and guiding her into the bedroom. Tina just sobbed and wrapped her arms around Bette’s neck.

    “Why did he have to die Bette?” Tina wept.

    “Oh Tina,” Bette said finally releasing the tears that she had held in since she heard the whole fiasco with Faye Buckley, but she made sure to hide her emotions again as she started getting the gallery ready for Provocations. Bette was a devastated mess and she hid it before, but after a talk with Shane, she knew she had to let it all out…


    “Hey Bette, you okay?” Shane said sitting down next to Bette who was sitting on the porch with a cigarette in her mouth.

    “I’m fine, why do you ask,” Bette said taking another drag of the cigarette.

    Shane sighed and put her hand affectionately on Bette’s knee, “Bette, you only smoke when something is horribly wrong.”

    Bette’s eyes laced with tears but she held the tears in by taking another drag of her cigarette, “It’s just Provocations, and Franklin on my ass, and Candace…”

    “What Bette?” Shane said softly looking into Bette’s tear-filled eyes.

    There was something about Shane that provoked a whirl of emotions in other women, and even men. Most women interpreted it as lust, but after their one night stands they were left wanting more. But the people that knew Shane the must knew that those emotions were love. Love as a friend. A friend who could be trusted whenever they needed a hand.

    Bette broke down in tears and leaned her head on Shane’s shoulders as she sobbed.

    “What happened Bette?” Shane said hugging Bette firmly being the loving rock that she needed.

    “It’s just I feel so one-sided in our relationship,” Bette said.

    “What?” Shane said in surprise.

    “Ever since the miscarriage, Tina locked herself away, and I’ve shut out my own emotions so I can be strong for Tina…”

    “No Bette,” Shane interrupted, “you have to grieve for the baby too. You need to let all those emotions out with Tina. Let Tina comfort you for a change. Come clean, tell her everything you’re feeling and let her help you instead of you fixing everything! For once in your life stop trying to be in control of everything and just let yourself be loved…”

    1. Should of happened that way. Maybe more elaborate but the same ending. Bette paid Candace for her work. I am sure there was contract and if Bette was displeased / Candace’s work or actions, she could fire her. JB and LuH did not want Bette to have an affair but IC did. Since IC was the boss then it goes her way.nIC did not handle the affair the right way, IMO.

    2. If only it happened that way. We all wish Bette wouldn’t have cheated. But in a perfect word it would be all rainbows and glitter. But unfortunately people cheat. Great job. Loved it!

    7. Can’t Candace sue Bette or something? And if Bette has kissed Candace, why is Tina fucking her brains out. Maybe it’s me but if my partner would kiss someone else, it would take a while before I would even want to kiss her. I liked it and this seems like a great dream but I don’t think it would ever happen. Please write some more what if…’s XXX PPS

    11. Why does Bette use the loss of their son as an excuse for her actions? And Tina had a miscarriage for gods sake, does she even know the physical and emotional drain that the mother goes through after experiencing something like that? Let’s see who felt it worst, the woman who carried the child or the who stood by and watched?  hmmmmmm, yeah, I’m gonna have to go with Tina. Awesome post 
