Chapter Nineteen

Tina Kennard POV

Tina turned around as she heard a very familiar voice say: “Holy fuck!”

She smiled and said: “Hey babe, this is Ewan.” But Bette wasn’t listening to Tina, she was just standing there with a huge bunch of flowers in her arms, looking at the point of exploding.

Ewan was Tina’s cousin and they hadn’t seen each other in ages. They had always got along very well, ever since they were kids. It had been such a coincidence to meet here and Tina was just thrilled.

Bette on the other hand was boiling. She fixed Ewan with a furious gaze, his arm was around Tina’s shoulder.

“Get your hands off my girlfriend,” she hissed, pausing after every word to emphasize it.

Ewan, who had smiled as he had seen the brunette approaching, looked dumbstruck. He clearly didn’t know what was happening.

“Did you not hear me?” Bette asked in anger as he didn’t react. “Tina is MY girlfriend and therefore I am the only one who holds her like that! Now, if you do not get off her very soon I will kick your hairy ass so hard that you will pray to God you were never born. Do I make myself clear?” She said it all in a calm, but threatening tone.

It dawned on Tina, who had been confused as well. Bette was jealous! Tina couldn’t help but like her girlfriend being so protective.

Ewan finally let Tina go. If they had been in a comic book, there would have been question marks all over the place. Tina went to Bette and wanted to hug her. Bette put her arm around Tina’s waist and held her very tight.

“Now, disappear, and let me never see you touch my girlfriend like that.”

I smiled. “Bette, relax.” Before I could continue, she interrupted me.

“Relax? This fucking moron has his hands all over your body!”

“Aren’t you exaggerating just the tiniest bit, honey? Now, I would like you to meet Ewan, my cousin who I haven’t seen in a very long time and who I just ran into. I just told him what a very special woman I met and how lucky I am to have found you.”
