Morning time and we find Jenny still asleep in her shed. Gene and Robin both woke her to tell her goodbye in the morning. They where both really nice to her even though her plate seemed a little full.

“Jen wake up, we need to talk.” Jenny hearing Tim outside her door, wakes up and lets him in.

“Did i just see Robin and Gene both leave. Anyway. We need to talk about getting the divorse. I made an appointment for monday moring. Can you make it?”

“Monday is fine, thanks for making the appointment. I went to see Marina, but it didnt work out. She told me some things last night that she could have said a long time ago. Maybe things would be different now.”

Tim standing there shocked, knowing he could care less about Marina tried to show some support for Jenny. “You know Jen if it was easy it woudnt be called love.” And with that he turned around and left. He was always so macho but sometime he just made things sound right.

Jenny began to think about what had happened. Maybe she had over reacted to what Marina had told her. It’s not like Jenny ever told her she had actually married Tim. What if Marina found out and didnt want Jenny any longer. Too many what if’s in the morning was going to put her in a bad mood. She decided she had better try to see Marina again. One more chance woudnt hurt anyone, right?

A few hours later Jenny started to walk to the planet. She was going to walk since it was a nice day, and she didnt have any gas in her car anyway. She passed by Bette and Tina’s house and thought it seemed rather dark inside. The blinds where still pulled shut. Tina had always made the house look like a home. Maybe they where sleeping in for once. The ten minute walk to the planet had Jenny thinking all kinds of crazy things. What if they got together and it didnt work out? What if Marina was a total control freak and didnt let her have friends (hello she didnt have that many) or took all her money (she had $ 10 in the bank). Jenny was starting to freak out. Too many what if’s again.

The planet was full as it always was in the moring. People loved this place. She walked inside and didnt see Marina anywhere. She did however see Dana and that new lady she had met in Palm Springs.

“Jenny, Jenny come over here. ” Jenny saw Dana to her right and waved. Tonya was sitting next to Dana and gave Jenny an ugly look as she came closer. She had met Tonya on the ride home from Palm Springs. No one seemed to like her least of all Alice.

“Hey Dana! How are you doing?”

“You remember Tonya right? We are engaded! Isnt that great?” Jenny didnt know what to say.

“That is excellent Dana congrads. Um have you seen Marina?” Jenny didnt look at Tonya at all and ignored her.

“I think she’s in her office. She had an early meeting with some investor guy.”

“Why would she need an investor. Is she ttrying to get rid of The Planet?”

“Dont you know Francesca owns The Planet and when Marina left her she pulled her money out. Marina has to find investors or she will lose this place. You did know Marina left her didnt you?”

Jenny looked at Dana with a blank look. She didnt know what to say. Marina had left Francesca. Francesca owns The Planet. Oh what had she done to Marina.

“We havnt talked in some time. Will you excuse me i need to go and see her. Bye Dana” Jenny had totally ignored Tonya, but who would want to talk to her anyway. She walked towards that back office and saw the door was shut. She decided to wait outside until Marina came out. Had Marina left Francesca for her. Or was it just something that just happned.

Marina and an older man came out of her office a few minutes later. They where speaking in french and Jenny didnt understand what they where saying. They where laughing and as the man left Marina had gave him a hug. Marina had seen her a gave her a wave. Marina walked the man out and came over to Jenny.

“Hello, do you want something to eat or drink Jenny. Im going to have some tea in my office. Will you join me?”

“Um im ok, lets talk.” Jenny walked into Marina’s office and sat on the couch that was on the back wall. As many times as she had been in her she never sat on the couch. Marina sat next to her so they where side by side. Marina put her cup down on the table and reached out to hold Jenny hand.

“Im sorry things ended the way they did last night. There are so many things to discuss. I ment what i said i would do anything to have another chance with you. If you wanted to start slow, or just as friends i will do it. I cant not have you in my life.”

Marina knew how to get under Jennys skin with words. She didnt know what to say. She was in love with her and that was scary it in its self. But to know Marina loved her that was a different story.

“Why didnt you tell me you left her? Did you do it for me?” Jenny turned to face Marina. She looked beauiful. Her dark skin was smooth and silky under the tight black shirt she had on. Jenny held onto Marina’s hand tighter. “Did you do it because you loved me?”

“I left her because it was the right thing to do. We had become incompatable. We had always managed to grow towards each other when she came home but this time, i didnt want to. She has always been cold towards me, but this time i coudnt stand it any longer. I guess in a way i did it for us, but mostly for me. I had to leave her. I knew i loved you but i didnt know how much until i didnt have you at all.”

Jenny was shocked. Marina left herself open up to Jenny. “I know she owns The Planet. Are you going to lose it becuase of me?”

“No i think i have things worked out. I have an old friend from Europe and he has invested in me. I wont lose it, but i will be on a short spending stick for awhile. Even if i did lose this place. I woudnt have been your fault. I know what kind of person she was when i took her money.”

“Thats good to know Marina. I have to tell you something. Tim and I are um…”

“What Jenny?”

“Married. We got married and then he left me in Tahoe that same night. We are going to see a lawyer on Monday to get a divorse. We shoudnt have married.”

“I figured something happned since he was very angry that night he came to see me. Guess he thought you would be here after he left you. I would have gone to get you if you had asked. I would do anything for you Jenny. I mean that.”

“I know. I know. I need to start looking for an appartment. Tim doesnt like the traffic coming from my house. Can you help me find one. I really dont know LA that well.”

This was a perfect opportunity for them to start fresh. If Jenny wanst living with Tim, Marina wouldnt have to worry about him interfearing in anything.

“You know i do know someone that is looking for a roomate. You met her. She really *****, and well you may not be able to keep your hands off of her.”

“What who are you talking about.” Oh god i think she is talking about herself. No no dont ask because i wont be able to say no.

“I have several extra rooms. You could live at my house if you want.”

Jenny moved closer to Marina and touched her face. “You know i have no will power when it comes to you. I will stay in another room and we can start over. No pressure to move to fast right.”

“Sure no pressure.” All Marina wanted to do was to take off Jenny clothes and be with her again. She touched Jennys face. Her blue eyes where sparking in the sun light. God she was beautiful. She never wanted to be apart from her.

“So as your lanlord we are going to have to establish some rules. NO late parties unless im invited.”

Jenny leaned over and kissed Marina. It was a deep passionate kiss. She had almost forgotten had sweet Marina tasted. They hadnt been together for so long. Jenny stoped and looked at Marina.

“Can i borrow your car? i walked over here, and i dont feel like walking home.”

“You can have my car if you want. Take anything you want. I should get back to work. I have to start coming up with new ideas to keep the customers coming in. Maybe we could talk tonight over dinner. PIck me up at 5 and we will go to my, um our house so we can talk. I know you’ll have some good idea’s for me.”

Marina kissed Jenny on the forehed and they both stood up hand in hand. Marina gave her the keys to the car and to the house. She wanted Jenny to move in right away. Jenny said she would take a few things over later today. Marina went back to work behind the counter. She was so good with her customers and everybody seemed to like to have her around. Jenny walked to the back of the planet to get Marina’s car. She was going to take over her some things tonight and leave Tim’s as soon as possible. She needed she tell Tim she was leaving and that he was rignt about Marina.

She needed to speak to both Robin and Gene. Things where kind of hanging with both of them now. Jenny drove home and She saw Tim on his way out.

“Wow nice car. What she give you her house too?” Tim was never impressed with material things. Thats why he still drove his piece of junk instead of getting a new car.

“I needed a way to get home. Um listen i found a place to go, so i will move out. I can still pay you for next month if you like.”

“I dont want your money Jenny i just want you to be happy. If it going to be with her fine. I just want you to be careful. You know how you get when you write. Hopefuly she will be there for you when you need her. Take care Jen.” Tim got into his car are drove away. He was mad she was leaving, but happy that she may have finally found herself.

Jenny walked into her house and reach for the phone. Who to call first wasnt the problem it was what to say. Im sorry Marina loves me and i love her, and we are going to be together. That sounded stupid. She dialed Robins number and Robin answered.

“Hey Jenny did you just get up?

“I’ve been up for a while, listen Robin i have to tell you something.”

“If its about Marina i know Jenny. I heard her message. She loves you. The two of you have something together, and that great.”

“Yeah we do. Im sorry things didnt work out for us. Your really great”

“No problem, your a great girl Jenny. Maybe we can get lunch some time as friend.”

“That would be great Robin thanks. Bye” That wanst so hard.

Gene was next, and he apologized more to Jenny that she did to him. He was so understanding and he told her they would be friends and she could come by the aquarium any time for help on her story. Jenny thought about her story. She hadnt written anything since yesterday. She sat down to write a few lines and before she knew it the time was 4:00. She had to get Marina in 1 hour. She gathered some of her things and placed them in a garbage bag (of course). Grabbed her shower things and went to take a shower. She came back grabbed her lap top and a few books and was headed out the door when she ran into Tim again. He was carring a large black bag.

“Here i bought this for you.” He pulled out a suit case that had wheels and handed it to her.

“Its nothing fancy, but i thought you should take your clothes over there in something othere that that bag. In side there are 2 little bags for your girl stuff. Take car Jenny.” And he walked into his house. Jenny was so touched, she yelled thank you to him. She went inside her house and put her clothes in the suit case. He had it monograded with JDS. How funny. Once again she left her shed and put things into Marina’s car and drove back over to The Planet.

She went inside and Marina was working behing the counter still. It wasnt that crowded, but it would be later on tonight.

“Hey”

“Hey yourself. You looked refreshed Jenny.”

“Well i do shower once in a while you know.” She took Marina’s hand and they walked out together. Marina put Jenny in the passenger side and she drove them home.
