    CHAPTER 323

    “You are pregnant ?”

    “Yeah – that was one of the reasons I went away. I took the test and it came up positive and it just freaked me out. There is a lot of stuff going on for me at the moment so I just wanted to go away and get my head around everything”

     

    “That’s just fantastic “ I grab Helena and give her another hug

     

    – a huge hug.

     

    “It’s the greatest news “

     

    And it is

     

    – I care for Helena very deeply and this is what she wants so much. She is going to be a great mother and this is the right time for her.

     

    “I am having a baby “ Helena says again with the biggest grin on her face.

     

    “I am so pleased for you

     

    – well done Helena – how has Peggy taken it ?”

     

    “I haven’t told her yet”

     

    I raise an eyebrow at her

     

    “Do you want to talk ?”

    “Do you have the time

     

    – you must be really busy what with just coming back from holiday and me not being around “

    “Its okay – look – take a seat – would you like some juice or something ?”

     

    “I am fine “

     

    We go and sit down

     

    in the comfortable seats in my office and I look at Helena. She genuinely is beaming – this is good for her. Its not going to be easy for her without a partner and the woman she loves has got serious commitment issues. But Helena is smart enough to figure out a way to get around all of the obstacles.

     

    “This is great Helena

     

    – when is the baby due ?”

     

    “Mid July “

     

    “Have you had any check up’s ?”

    “Yes

     

    – lots – I am in great shape and so is the baby”

    “When are you going to break the news that Peggy is going to a granny ?”

     

    “Fairly soon

    3. Great chapter. Glad that Helena decided to take herself away from Tina’s office and not have Tina tell her it was time to go, for whatever reason. Tina was right Helena is no longer in the fold, so to speak and certain things can not be discussed with her. Thanks.

    9. Thanks Ally for The update! :-) looks like everything is fell in its place without any push from Tina or Bette. I hope this will be happen when they deal with Shane too ;-)
