    Setting; Bette and Tina’s

    Chapter 7

    Eveything was in order and Bette was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her bride. She paced back and forth nervous that maybe Tina had realized what an ***** Bette truly was and decided not to marry her afterall. Finally Alice and Dana came running through the back door,

    Alice: Sorry, she was having a hard time deciding on what to wear.

    Dana: She is worse than my mom and my mom is pretty bad.

    Bette: Guys, did she seem nervous about this? I mean were there any indications that she might not want this.

    Alice took Bettes hand.

    Alice: Bette, the two of you belong to one another and she knows that. I hardly think she had a single doubt.

    Dana: Bette, in case no one has told you yet, you look gorgeous.

    Alice stepped back an admired her friend. Bette was bearing a beautiful black suit. Very simple and plain, but gorgeous.

    Alice: You really do look hot.

    Bette: Thank you guys.

    With that Kit came strolling over to hand Bette the white roses she had requested.

    Kit: Hey girl. You doing ok?

    Bette: Im great. Im nervous, more nervous than I was when we first did this. I fell like I have so much on the line this time.

    Kit: You do.

    Melanie: Bette we are ready to begin the ceremony. I know that you have written your own vows and Im sure Tina has done the same. Ill talk you guys through but really its in your hands.

    The music began to play and Bette took her place at the alter in front of Melanie.

    The door opened and out walked Tina. She was wearing a beige sun dress. Also beautiful and simple just like her. Bette couldnt take her eyes off f her. The tears welled up in her eyes. She couldnt believe Tina had granted her this chance. Bette knew that This opportunity with Tina was her only ticket to true happiness and she would not take advantage of it.

    Tina took her place next to Bette.

    They took each others hands and looked deep into one anothers eyes.

    Melanie: Bette would you like to begin?

    Tina: Actually I would, if you dont mind.
