Well, Ellen, good morning. Bette flashed a smile as if nothing was out of the ordinary. Thank you for the towel. She covered herself up. I was just going out for some coffee, would you like some? She asked Ellen as she stepped out of the shower. Ellen, speechless, simply shook her head. As Bette squeezed by Ellen, she whispered in her ear, I hope all of this doesnt change what you just said to Tina a few minutes ago.
When Bette left, Tina and Ellen still remained unmoving in the bathroom, staring at each other. Tina refused to break the silence, angry at her mother for barging in on her and Bette. She didnt want to admit it, but she was also embarrassed. Her mother was just as stubborn as she was, though. Finally Tina stepped out and grabbed a towel behind Ellen to cover herself. As she was walking out the door, Ellen spoke up.
Tina, wait. She turned around, waiting for her mother to continue. Im sorry for that. I didnt know, how was I supposed to know?
Just forget it.
Its kind of hard to forget something like that, you naked with a woman. Ellen looked down at her feet.
Whats the matter mom? Its all fine and dandy when Bette and I are dressed and acting civilly, but when you are forced to think about us having *****, its another story? Tina asked coolly through clenched teeth.
Youre not being fair, Tina.
Fair? Whats fair mom? How you and dad responded to me telling you the truth over Christmas? No phone calls for months? Not wanting to get to know someone Im in love with because shes a woman? Is that fair? Take a look in the mirror, mom and youll see whats not fair. Tinas face flushed with anger.
Just then Tinas dad walked into the apartment, seeing Tina and Ellen in the bathroom. He knew he was interrupting something and he awkwardly moved to the kitchen. Tina flashed one more heated glance at her silent mother before going to Julies bedroom to change. Ellen sighed and joined Paul in the kitchen, giving Tina her space to get ready. Paul raised his eyebrows at Ellen in silent question and Ellen simply shook her head, shutting her eyes for a moment as Bette entered the apartment.

Great story and we have all partied like that with similar results. By the way, we have now been able to dig out of the snow in Ohio and then it went on your way. The snow will eventually end but OMG it is cold here still. Thanks for keeping us entertained.
