Bette was sitting on the bench beside Tina and Tim and his wife in the snowy Central Park.

Bette was snuggled close to Tina and smiling as she watched, Angie, Andy, Christian, and Nicole-Tim’s daughter, frolicking in the snow.

"Hey Tim, Nicole seems to like Christian," Tim’s wife Lena said.

"No," Tim said shaking his head, "nope, nope. She’s about to turn 14 soon, she doesn’t like boys yet."

"Would you prefer her to be on our team Tim?" Tina said smirking.

Lena and Bette chuckled as Tim answered, "girls can’t get her pregnant."

They all laughed but then Tim’s face turned completely serious when Angie, Andy, and Nicole tackled Christian down to the floor. "No she’s on top of him!" Tim cried.

"Calm down baby," Lena laughed.

"They grow up so fast don’t they," Tina said.

"And you bet your ass I’ll be interrogating all of Angelica’s future boyfriends," Bette said scoffing.

"Tickle war!!" Andy screamed.

"Oh hell no!" Tim shot up, "Nicole! Time to go!"

"Tim!" Lena scolded.

"Aww dad, so soon?" Nicole whined.

"Yeah, let’s go," Tim said.

"Let’s go too, it’s getting dark," Tina said standing up, "I’ve made some soup for us. Would you guys like to have dinner with us?"

"Oh no thanks," Tim said, "Lena’s annoying sister is coming over for dinner tonight."

"Tim, she’s not annoying!" Lena said.

Bette, Tina, and Tim looked at her for a minute before Lena sighed and said, "okay maybe she is."

As a group they trudged to the car. It had been three weeks since the incident and Bette was no closer to getting a new heart. She did however, recover quite nicely and as long as she didn’t get overstressed and angered, there shouldn’t be any problem.

Of course, Bette had spent most of her time trying to convince Tina to at least talk to her sister. She had brought up the fact that if Tina wouldn’t have convinced her to talk to Kit, they would have never become as close as they did.

Tina’s argument was that she did indeed give second chances, the examples being Bette herself after the Candace fiasco, Helena after their horrible breakup, Jenny after she was being a total bitch to her, Bette, again, when she tried to kill herself in their pool back in LA, and Christian after she discovered he lied.
