Laughter broke out in the movie theater as a funny scene emerged on the screen.

Patty, the social worker, sat in the back of theater watching the bonding between Christian and Bette and Tina’s other children, Angelica and Andy.

She had observed Bette and Tina all day and found them to be excellent mothers, now if the children got along with Christian, who was not only older but also of a different race, then Patty would sign the papers once and for all.

Christian sat with his arms draped across the two chairs next to him. In one chair was Andy, who was cuddled up to Christian’s chest, that’s how he liked to watch movies. Often times Bette or Tina would melt like butter when he did that them.

Angelica was on the other chair, leaning against Christian’s arm with a smile on her face. She had quickly gotten used to Christian as a cousin and even started telling him secrets.

Patty smiled at the image and signed the papers. She knew Christian would be taken care of by this family, and that Tina, as a Kennard herself, would properly care for his inheritance until he turned 21 and was able to retrieve it.

She leaned back in her chair to enjoy the rest of the animated movie, anxious for it to finish so she can bear the good news to Bette and Tina who were watching a different movie.

Bette jumped when a giant explosion filled the screen and she smiled. "Whoa!"

Tina chuckled, "oh my God you’re just like Tim and Shane when it comes to these things."

"And Max too," Bette added with a smile, "there’s nothing wrong with liking action flicks."

Tina smirked, "the only ones I like are the ones with heroines not big bulky sweaty men ugh. But sweaty muscular women…mmm."

Bette shot her a surprised look, "what?"

"Yeah, I’d rather watch Angelina Jolie or Cameron Diaz, Lucy Lui, and Drew Barrymore, then Sylvester Stallone, Jean Claude Van Danne, or our ex-governer."

Bette broke out in laughter, "anyone is better than Arnold!"

"Just any man in general," Tina laughed, "I think I only tolerate Leonardo DiCaprio because he’s pretty."

Bette smirked, "well I’m muscular enough to be in one of those films don’t you think?"
