Alice picked up her coffee which was now cold and just looked at Shane. How did she read people so well? How did she know she was thinking of Dana? Of course who else would she be thinking of? Things with Dana were more complicated than just getting it over with though. They were friends after all, Dana was engaged and lately Alice was feeling a lot more than just an attraction for Dana.
Alice, when are you going to tell Dana how you feel? Are you going to just sit there and let her marry Tonya?

The last time she had been with Dana things had not gone well and she wasnt sure if she could take this tonight. Tonya will be smooching all of Dana and calling her those annoying pet names. God, I need a drink she said out load and as she got up to go into the kitchen there was a knock at the door. Ill get it she hollered to Shane and Carmen, dreading who might be at the door. I can do this she said out load as she walked to the door. She opened it; Dana and Tonya were standing there, holding hands and looking cute as ever. Gag me she thought. Dana said kind of sheepishly. Feeling rather awkward from the way things had gone the other night.
