    Friday afternoon – too much homework !

    ONE AND ONLY

    CHAPTER 18

    　

    Tina was sitting in the library trying to figure out how she was going to get all this homework and reading done and still go to the movies not only tonight but also spend Saturday at NYU watching whatever classic movie double bill they were going to show. She had math problems to do -and she wasn’t doing well in that class. She sucked even more with history which had come as a surprise to her because it was one of the few classes she hadn’t been flunking in her old school. She also had reading to do and that was before she tried to figure out whatever the hell the science homework was for next Tuesday. She had been at her new school for only five days – Friday afternoon was a study period. That was just inviting the kids to go home and start the weekend early. But as she glanced around the library most of her year were sitting in groups or alone and working. It was obviously a smart move – give the kids time to do their homework and if they didn’t use the Friday afternoon then they would have to catch up at some point during their weekend. Even the dumbest kid would soon get the message that by working on a Friday it would allow them free time at the weekend.

    Tina was liking her new school – the standard was higher and she was struggling in some subjects but she was determined enough to know that she was going to come through this. She really liked her classmates. At various points she had made sure she spoke to just about all of them- some were self obsessed, some  just dismissed her  – there were the usual types that she recognised from Chester High. She was happiest with Bette, Shane and Carmen – they were her friends and she knew already that they were real friends. They had her back as she had discovered when she had been confronted by a Helena type bully in the cafeteria – Shane had stepped in and the bully who was looking to make a point against the new girl – backed off. So Tina was happy – well she would be more happy if she could get a couple of pieces of homework out of the way.

It has come to my notice that a certain Kitty Kitty is having a rough time.Is being neglected in favour of the weekly shop and….and a unhealthy addiction to hoovering,plus being disturbed at regular intervals and being spied on.This isn’t good for me as an avid reader of this great story.So a friendly request for this poor moggie to have some down time and oh and more Tuna would certainly help.So more pandering to him would be appreciated.

    4. I think the situation requires massive amounts of tuna. So much that a certain feline falls into a tuna coma. You wouldn’t want Rocky to bite your toes just when you’ve fallen asleep?

    6. I agree with the majority, feed Mr. Rocky some tuna. I just gave a bit of tuna to my roommate’s cat, Doodle Bug :) she kept begging so I gave in. Great chap, PPS!

    8. 🐱 Lord Rockingham, since you’re able to post these stories you should try visiting pizza hut website and order something. You can order anything online. Even fish. Loved 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 this update. Thank you. And the next time she walks into a room on you do like I do, pretend to be asleep. Even if you’re on a treadmill 😉

Rocky my friend you are looking at this all wrong . . . the shopping gets you the tuna, hello, awesome, the hoovering lets you use the computer in secret allowing you to post, which if she is hoovering as much as you say, you should be posting at a much greater rate by the way, AND quite frankly, if she left you alone, you would just sleep all day and then post nothing. All in all, im with Ally on this and well, lets be honest, her stories are amazing and so im gonna take her side anyway. I would tell you to post but you’re probably a bit chuffed by now so I will just say Ally, PPS!!!!

    11. Feline harassment is a seriuos thing, the more if it keeps a certain cat from posting more chapters of this wonderful story. So dear Ally I must insist, that Rocky is kept well and has any opportunity to post whatever he can.

    12. Thanks for another wonderful post. I love the story and character development. It flows so smoothly. It’s a nice friendship developing between our four girls. I also love the parents and their connections.

    16. Oh you poor poor feline!! Are you ok!? Are you traumatized? Do you need some counseling!? Meow!? … 🐱😜 hehe… Thanks for the update Rocky!! Tell Ally that she’s doing such a wonderful job (again!) .. And we really appreciate her hard work! And let’s convince her that it’s such a joy to bring more tuna to her favorite feline! ;-) anyway, I am in awe with this line “..the same sly looks and lingering glances that she knew she was guilty of herself..” isnt that a great perspective on what is happening to many of us!? … ;-) love the story, the characters building and all the flow! So looking forward to read more and more!! PPVS :-) and thanks again!!

    20. Rocky, you are a smart cat and I’ll tell your mum how precious you are. Ally, you’ve captured the teenage innocence so well in this story. Please be kind to Rocky and give him lots of tuna and put him on the bed when you hoover. We need him to post because we are addicted to this story.
