Need To Be Next To You Chapter 8

    Chapter 8

Tina had a long and tiring trip but she has never felt as energized as she did now. With her bag in hand she headed towards her destination.

There was never a day that Bette felt the urge to call Tina. She thought that by running away she would be able to let Tina go. Instead, Tina haunted her mind and heart every minute of everyday. Simply put, there was never a day that Bette didn’t think of Tina.

The night that Bette told Tina about her true feelings was also the night that Bette realized that Tina would never feel the same way about her. That hurt her so bad but what hurt her most was the pain she knew she caused Tina. She couldn’t bear to see the hurt, anger and disappointment on Tina’s eyes again and that was when she decided that she had to leave. It was for the best, she thought.

The letter that she had written Tina was one of the hardest she had to write. She knew that she cannot just walk away without explaining to Tina how she felt. She left everything behind. She left her house, her car and her job. All she had was the pain and love in her heart. Franklin was surprised with her sudden decision but was able to do nothing when Bette said that her decision to leave CAC was final. She then booked a flight to New York. She always liked that place. She and Tina wanted to have a vacation there but it never really happened. They were both too busy to take a time off.

While she was in New York she met Helena Peabody. She was a big art and Bette Porter fan as it turns out. Helena saw the CAC’s Provocations show but did not get the chance to meet Bette. Bette was having coffee at a café near Central Park when she met Helena.

“Hi! I’m sorry to disturb you but I just can’t help but notice you. You are Bette Porter, am I correct?” The brunette with an English accent said.

“Yes, I am. I’m sorry but I don’t seem to recall who you are.” Bette politely said.

    1. I NEED more! Bette’s jaw must have nearly hit the floor when she saw Tina sitting in her reception area. I imagine she will be more open to receiving unidentified guests in the future after this experience. PPS

    2. I love the story and I am glad Helena is just a very good friend< I always like it when Helena is a good person in these posts. Now first Tina needs to run into Bette' arms and then they need to go somewhere and sit down and talk until they get everything straightened out. Thanks for posting so quickly I would love to read another. PSP

    3. Did you have to stop there? so unfair, I hope that you post soon, and that they talk and that Tina my sweet Tina doesnt cry to much Bette was a little mean for me and a coward.

    4. OK, you explained internal feelings of Bette Porter! as Ms Porter is really complicated person, you got your high point, cause you described how she really felt towards her soulmate (I guess I can name Tina as her soulamate) coming to the next person in your story Helena and you know sometimes for person it is really hard to put the third person to the relationships but sometimes while you see the aspiration of the third person you can think to yourself if i can not be happy with my lover maybe i can make happy the another person and maybe it somehow decrease my pain inside of me. This thing Bette only can think because she can not fall in love with another person as it is said “It does not really compare…”. the third flow in your story the coming back of Tina (you just stopped here) i just want you not want sorry wuold like to encourage you to describe their fear, desire, passion while meeting each other!! it really keeps the reader cause emotionally reader feels what you are really want to write. Hope my comment will not stuck in your throat and you accept it positively. However accept my official thank for your writing, you are doing really good job(I’m telling you it as a reader cause i really am not writer I just analyse the writer’s direction and wan to give you some courage and suggest different options).
