Chapter Thirty
Shawnee, Kansas
Tina woke up a little early than the usual so she could prepare food and bring some clothes for Peter. Nobody else knew about the teenage boy yet, even though she knew that she might get into trouble for keeping him in her house she didn’t care. What mattered was he was safe and in due time she would know everything about him; Peter promised her that he would tell her everything once he’s ready and she believed him.
When the blonde reached the second level of the art house, she saw Peter sitting beside the window looking at the magnificent Ambrosia Lake
“How are you feeling?”
“I’m getting better” the teenager answered shyly
Tina smiled and placed the basket on top of the small table “You must be hungry, I brought you food to last the whole day and some clothes”
Peter gave the woman who saved his life a grateful smile “You don’t have to do that Miss…”
“I know but I want to”
“Thank you Miss” he said with a look of appreciation in his eyes
“You’re welcome and just call me Tina”
“Ok Tina”
Tina watched the teenager attacked the food with delight and she thought although the bruises were still visible he looked certainly better than last night when she saw him lying in the bush. Tina just looked at the young man who was quietly eating, she didn’t know why but she felt so at ease with him already as if he was a part of her family, maybe because she saw some of her late brother’s traits in Peter.
“Listen Peter I’ll be gone most of the day because I work as a teacher but I’ll be back before six, do you think you’ll be alright?”
“Yes, I’ll be okay”
“Great just take all the rest that you need, I want you to get well really soon”
“Thanks again Miss… I mean Tina” the young man said slightly embarrassed
The blonde gave the Peter a big smile and patted his curly hair “Alright I’m going now so be good ok?”
“I will I promise”
Tina just got inside her car when she heard her cell phone beeped; she fished it out of her bag to see who sent her the message

i don’t really know what are you planning for this story…been waiting long and still no progress on Tina and Bette…i hope you know what you’re doing…i mean we’re dying to know what’s in store for the two of them…are they gonna end up together or what….just saying…hope next time you post, i’ll be happy to read it
Phacey…great update. I hope Jean invites Bette and Kit to her birthday party. Is it possible to fall in love with two people are the same time and is it the same level?
Its always so nice to see a new update on this story! Im never a fan of Belena so im glad abt the friendship between Bette and Helena. Its just funny bec 4 me they are unknowingly referring to one person. I agree with teegirl i hope tina’s mom invite Bette and kit on her 70th bday! That wud be fun! Thanks 4 d awesome post hun!

if bette still loves 2 persons then i rather she just stay single. i mean it’s understandable to love 2 persons but not the same way and it’s unfair on both the loves. maybe helena would be a better choice for tina if she could devote her life to tina. or sam.

thanks for the update. I like this story because its so different in that Tina and Bette intuitively know that there is something very strong between them but their hearts have to figure it out so it will take time because their brains keep interfering with that. I know that it will happen when the timing is right so I will be patient. Awesome story.
