    "Making My Way Home" Chapter 5

    Brief Summary of Chapter 4:

    Shane finally works up the nerve to walk into the Planet.  She is reunited with her old friends as well as new ones; Papi & Tasha.  The gang meets Shay…  They also meet Mel and Shane’s son…  Harmon…   Everyone is still in shock at the new findings…

    SHANE???  SON???  FAMILY??? WHUT DA FUK???

    *******and now………  CHAPTER 5 of "MAKING MY WAY HOME"*******

    CARMEN’S POV

    I grab a napkin to dry my hands and I exit the restroom.  I walk over towards the gang and wonder why everyone is out of their seats.  Well, except for Papi.  Comfortably seated sort of slouched in her seat.  I get closer and I hear a familiar voice.  No!  It can’t be.  Is it really her?  The girls all stop to look at me.  I look at all them one by one wondering what is going on.  As I move closer, I see her…  She’s waving her hands in the front of Bette and Tina’s face trying to get their attention…

    Shane:  Hello… Tina… Bette?  …

    Bette:  (Shakes her head and looks at Shane)  Oh! Uh?!?  Yeah.. Same house.

    Oh my gosh!  It is her!  It’s been so long and all these thoughts, feelings and whatever just rushes through my entire body.  She’s wondering what everyone is looking at.  She turns and faces me and I just stand still… … … … still confused… … still shocked… still….  I don’t know what else.  She parts her lips to speak……

    Shane:  Hey!

    Carmen:  Hey!

    Really Carmen!  Really!  “Hey!” is all you can say.  My face is emotionless as I silently curse myself.  We just stand there staring at each other.  In a room full of people, yet, it’s only me and her.  Her emerald eyes lock on to my eyes for the first time in 2 years and “Hey” followed by silence is all we have to offer each other after 2 years.  I search her face as well as her body as she does the same to mine.  In some way, we are sort of in a trance and speaking with our eyes in a language only she and I understand.  I see the rest of the gang at the corner of my eyes with their mouths gaped opened and watching the intense and silent scene in front of them.  WOW!  She looks so good!  Still skinny, but a little bit more weight added to her slender body.  Muscle weight.  So HOT!  And So SEXY! Her hair got a little longer, but it looks so good on her.  Suddenly, the moment is over when the little kid from earlier bumps in to Shane and we break eye contact.

    1. “bettyvhall” – Harley was in the picture and for some reason she’s not anymore…She is someone Shane knew from her teen years that she crossed paths with again in New York…She leaves the picture; We’ll find out in the next chapter or so about what happened to her. When Harley leaves the picture. Shane is reunited with another friend in New York also from her teen years, Mel! Everyone will find out Shane and Mel’s status in the next chapter or so. I wanna know everything! lol And I know Harmon can’t biologically be Shane’s if he’s 2 and Shane left LA 2 years ago so just where did he come from and how come he looks so much like Shane? Is she adopting more half brothers now?Anyway, really excited for the next part. please don’t keep us all hanging!

    9. Hey everyone… I just wanted to focus on Carmen’s POV of what was going through her head at the reunion of her and her ex-lover. I know you all may have a lot more questions.
