Chapter 31:
The girls get dressed and come down to have breakfast. Mrs. Porter has prepared bacon, eggs and buttermilk pancakes from scratch with coffee and orange juice. Mr. Porter is bringing a bowl of fresh cut cantaloupe to the table when Bette and Tina come down to join them.
“Hey mom and dad.”
“Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Porter. Wow this is better than Ihop. Everything smells so scrumptious.”
“Mom can put Ihop out of business. Her pancakes are homemade.” Bette bragged.
“Thanks baby. Tina have a seat and enjoy dear.”
“T, would you like some coffee?”
“No ba..Bette.”
Melvin looked up at his wife with a smirk at Tina’s slip up.
After some chit chat Bette thinks this is as good a time as any to tell her parents what she’s sure they already know by now.
“Mom and dad I would like to formally introduce you to my girlfriend, Tina.” Bette turned and looked at Tina with so much love and devotion.
Tina couldn’t help but smile at her charming lover.
“Well I can’t say I’m surprised,” said Melvin.
“I was wondering how long it would take you to figure out you two belong together.” Marilyn smiled looking at the look in Tina’s eyes when she looked at her daughter.
“So you knew Tina and I would get together?” Bette asked.
“Honey we called it the first time Tina came over.” Melvin replied.
“We’re happy for you baby.” said Mrs. Porter.
“Yes Bette. Just remember our talk, because Ms. Kennard is definitely a keeper.” Melvin said winking at Tina.
Tina just blushed.
“I agree with you dad. Mom thanks for the delicious meal. I am stuffed. Can we be excused?”
“Sure baby.” Marilyn answers. “So what do you superstars have planned for today?”
“Um…well” Tina stammered.
“Not much. Come on T.” Bette said grabbing her girl by the hand before the blonde dies of embarrassment.
“Why must you do that?” Melvin asked his wife. “Tina could barely look us in the eye.” He says smiling at the blushing teenager.
“Oh I was just having a little fun. If I was trying to embarrass them I would have mentioned how thin the walls are upstairs.”
“I like Tina for her. They make a good couple.”

Missed your story!! I love this story, i was Glad you posted a chapter early! Could I talk you into posting another today?
OMG I could never talk to my mother about having sex for the first time. Or anytime for that matter :) BUt I am comfortable with talking with my adult children about it (well their sex not mine :P ). Isn’t that weird.

Thanks, That was Hot, Funny and Sweet all in one. I see that Bette’s parents are really amazing and at least one of Tina’s, her Mom, I think her Dad maybe able to accept that Tina and Bette are a couple, but I don’t think that he could handle them having sex, that is something different altogether. Love this story.
