At the bar, Tina and Bette were talking to Dana about how she feels about Alice.
Tina: Dana, we know you guys have always had a thing for each other, just tell us.

Bette: Cmon Dane, tell us. You can trust us, we love you, and we just want to know how YOU felt.

Dana: When Mr. died, Alice came running to me, Tonya was just getting frustrated, but Alice, she understood. She took care of everything, and never once made me feel silly, she understood Mr. P. She knew how special he was to me. All of you guys did, Tonya thought I was crazy for having a funeral for a cat, and having friends come, I heard talking to a someone on the phone. She thinks we are all crazy. It was a stupid cat I will never forgot those words, Mr. P was not just a cat, hewas my best friend,

Dana stopped as she remembered her loving feline friend, she wiped the tears from her eyes and continued.

Dana: I let it go, thinking she was just being insensitive. That night when Alice came by, and told me not to marry her, when she kissed me, I havent felt like that sincewellsinceyou know.

Bette and Tina: Lara?

Dana: yes since Lara, so you asked me what I feel for Al, I feelI think I like her. I am just not sure, well we are friends too. I would hate to ruin that. You know?

Bette and Tina nodded. Bette said okay, Dane, now lets just have a good time

They sat at the table laughing, talking and just enjoying each others company. Shane, Kit, Ivan, and Alice all came to join them. (Tonya had left for the night)

Dana and Alice were sitting very close, whispering to one another.

Dana: Oh my GODit isoh Jesusnoit cant beit is Lara

Bette: Oh *****, and she is with someone.

Tina and Kit: Candace?

Shane: This is going to get interesting. Danas little soup chef is with Bettes.

Bette shot Shane a look that said Stop now.
Kit looked at Ivan, the drama in this group beats any television show, and damn glad I am sober this is going to be good.

Dana looked at Alice, Alice had turned ghost white. Laras back?

Tina: Bette, did you know they knew one another?

Bette: I had no clue, Dana, when did she back?

Dana: I have no idea, I have not talked to her since Shanes party on the boat. How does she know Candace?

Tina looked at Bette. Bette: I have no ***** clue, I did not hang out with her T., oh look, they dont see us yet, maybe we can dodge the bullet.

Tina: Yea, lets go guys.

Alice: I think I am going to stay.

Shane and Kit: We are so not going anywhere.

Dana: should I go talk to her?

Bette and Tina decide they should leave, they get up to walk out the door, Candace catches up with them

Candace: cant handle me being with another woman, Bette.

Lara feeling a little awkward, smiles at Bette and Tina.

Lara: ummm, hi you guys, it has been a while, how is Dana?

Candace: you know these two?

Lara: yes, I do,

Candace: Jesus Bette is their anyone in this town you havent fucked?

Tina was getting angry. Bette held tightly to her hand, Candace, I have not slept with Lara, we are just friends. Lara, I am not sure how you met her, and I really dont care, but take my advice and run quickly, before you get into something really messy.

Candace: tell her how good I am, Bette

Tina: go to ***** Candace.

Lara: Look, I am not sure what is going on, I met her today, she asked me out, I just got back and thought it could be fun, apparently, I have missed a lot of stuff during my absence. (turning to Candace) I had fun talking to you today, Candace, but, I think perhaps it was a mistake, IthinkI think I should go.

Bette: Good idea, Lara

Lara still looked uncomfortable as she began walk away, Tina called Lara, wait up, then Tina looked at Candace and then Bette Come on baby

Bette: coming T, Stay away from my family and friends Candace! That is a warning.

Bette caught up with Tina and Lara.

Lara: It is good to see you guys, I am sorry about thatincidentI just met her and she asked me out, I have been gone for a while, my dad was sick. I had to go and take care of him. I never talked to Dana, shewellwe broke up the night of Shanes party. I have not talked to her since, is she doing okay? I saw her ad, she looked great! I have missed her.

Bette: she is here tonight, over there. (pointing to the table)

Lara: I cant go over there, (tears in her eyes) I cant see her.

Tina: it is okay Lara, she is not upset with you, well go with you. You really should talk to her.

Bette shot Tina a look and mouthed the word Alice?

Tina shrugged as if to say, what can we do?

Together they walked over to the table, Dana, looked as white as a ghost.

Lara: Hi Shane, Kit, AliceHiDana, how is everything been? I am sorry I left so suddenly, (she said more to Dana then anyone else) my father was sick, they called me the night of Shanes party, and I left the next morning, I am sorry I did not say good bye to you guys, Dana, I did not think it was time for us to say anything.

Dana just looked at her,
