Tina and Bette went to Bette’s apartment. They walked in, Bette sat on the sofa.

“So…” Bette said.

“So…” Tina repeated. They both laughed.

“We probably need to talk.” Bette said. Tina walked over and straddled her.

“I love the way you talk.” Bette said kissing her.

“So, you won the bet…” Tina said.

“I did.” Bette hesitated. “But it wasn’t about the bet. I mean if we really think about it if it wasn’t for the bet I wouldn’t have stayed with you.” Bette said.

“That’s helping your case.” Tina said, playing with Bette’s hair.

“No! I mean come on, after what you did? Tina, come on! I should’ve been running for my life. You made ‘our family album’.” Bette said.

“Well yes that was kind of creepy.” Tina agreed.

“And the pictures and teddy bears, I mean now I love having your pictures here… but then?” Bette said raising her eyebrow.

“Yes… I see where you’re going.” Tina smiled.

“And the restaurant! Talk about suffer! I had to not only eat that shit but also got the evil eye from the waitress while you were in the bathroom.”

“Ammmm, I was at the back watching the game and eating something eatable.” Tina confessed.

“What??” Bette was shocked, “Sorry,” Tina said kissing Bette.

“Well, my point is if there was no bet, I wouldn’t get to know you. So we should thank Jodie and Amy.” Bette said.

“Jodie and Amy?”

“Yes they work with me. They’re the ones who ‘picked’ you.” Bette explained.

“Did they visit my magazine?” Tina wondered.

“I think so, one time why?”

“Well I’m pretty sure Lana told them about my article…” Tina said.

Bette’s eyes grew big with understanding. “Fucking bitch! Jodie set me up!!! Well the joke is on her. Now I’ve got a sexy girlfriend AND the diamonds account.”

“You have a girlfriend??” Tina asked acting shocked.

“If she’ll want me.” Bette said.

“She wants” Tina said kissing her.

“So, we’re leaving the past behind. No bet. No article.” Tina said.
