They got out of the car. Bianca had not said a word since the boathouse.
“I am going get her ready for bed, to give her a tranquilizer to help her sleep.” said Maggie.
“I will get ready for bed. I’ll meet you in your room.” said Bette.
Bette went to her room and took a shower. She slightly winced as she put on her pj.
“I will have Maggie look at my ribs tonight.” she thought.
She looked in the mirror and was taken by the image staring back at her. She was going to have a nice shiner in the morning no doubt. She then looked down at her hands. They were banged up but nothing was broken thank god.
She left her room and headed for Maggie’s. She tapped lightly on the door, not wanting to wake Bianca.
“Come in” Maggie said.
“Is she sleeping?” Bette asked softly.
“Yes, so you don’t have to whisper. I have campus men looking for Jonathan. When they find him we will know immediately. They are to take him to Zack.I will kill him myself”.
“I will help you!” Bette said with a slight chuckle, but her eyes said that she meant it.
“Where was the guy that guards Bianca at all times?” asked Maggie.
“He was found shot in the stomach on the docks. He died on the way to the hospital. Jonathan has major hate for Bink’s, and an obsession with you. The things he said it was like he owned you. He wanted her dead, I just was in is way tonight. But I am scared that he did something far worse to Bink’s. He tried to rape her. That brought back memories of Michael. We have to bring her back because last time she almost did not make it”.
“We won’t let that happen Porter” said Maggie.
“Can you look at my ribs? They’re hurting like a son of a bitch. Man…I am glad you’re a doctor”.
“Lift up your shirt……..when I touch here, does it hurt?”
Maggie felt Bette’s muscles jump at the same time she took a sharp breath.
“Well…Nothing is broken, just bruised. Wrap it for a couple of days and you should be ok. I know you have games coming up so when you’re practicing or playing I want you to ware a brace”.

wow… well i am glad bette told tina the truth… now i have to ask… why didn’t tina get into the bath with bette… hmmmmm… we saw that bette was not shy… ok… PPS
Hey T, was wondering what happened to the next chapter,,LOL….I really liked how Tina is being a great agent to Shane,,,and was sad that Al is MIA, sure hope it is not going to end up badly for her. Bette is one aswesome freind and loved how Tina cared for Bette and helped her listen while Bette was telling what hapened the truth…great job T!!!

I am glad that Bette trusted Tina enough to tell her the truth about her injuries. Binks is lucky to have two friends like Bette and Maggie. I hope that Al is okay and turns up soon. As far as Gabby, she went to FSU and now is married to Laird Hamilton a big wave surfer. He surfes those huge waves at Jaws off of Maui, Hawai’i.
