—Janel McCarville scored 17 points and Shameka Christon added 11 and 11 rebounds as the New York Liberty defeated  Cleveland , 60-56. The Clevend trailed, 59-56, with under 15 seconds to play but had a chance to tie the game. Deanna Nolan, who  scored  22 points, got a good look from the top of the arc, but her shot bounced off the front rim and the loose ball ended up going out of bounds to the Liberty. With six seconds left, Erin Thorn made one free throw to seal the victory for New York, which outscored  Cleveland 24-14 in the fourth quarter to rally for the win. The New York held a 29-23 lead at the break and were up by as many as nine late in the third quarter. New York used a 12-1 run – keyed by five points from Ashley Battle – to take a 45-43 edge with 5:29 to play. It was the Liberty’s first lead since they were in front, 8-7, in the first quarter, and New York never trailed again.   Bette PorterTemeka Johnson and Marie Ferdinand-Harris each added 14 points for the Sparks. Porter grabbed 12 rebounds and Johnson had eight assists. Ann Wauters led them with 18 points and Sophia Young had 16. Becky Hammon, who was averaging 19. was held to  nine. It was the last road game tonight they were heading home. In the team meeting  Coach  praised the team for the winnigh record on the road. Bette’s numbers were back up to were they were before she started treatment.  Because of the improvent on the court she had started seven of the ten road games, other teamates were looking to her to be a leader on the floor.  Barbara had gotten to know bette pretty well over the last two weeks, she really liked her.  Bette was funny, had a great body, understood the life of a athelet .

Tonght was the last night in town so Bette wanted to pickup something for  Tina and alex. Last night after talking to Tina she spoke to Alex, she went on about her and Miranda saw the latest Indinan Jones movie and how cool it was.  So bette knew just what to get them. Her and Barbra went in to Toys R Us .   " I have to get my neices  something" bette said to Barbra.   " No problem I just look around" she repled.    Bette looked aroud she finally saw it on the top shelf to her right. She grabbed two ferdro hats , two plastic whips she was sure they wer goin to  love the prpos from the movie. Barbra and Bette had Subway for lunch. She could wait to get home she want to check on Alice, then spend the day with Alex, Tina. Her plans for Tina involved never leaving the bed, Summer taking Alex out for the day that made her smile.
