Its been two weeks since the kiss. I tried to move on by being my usual self; going parties, getting laid, have my share of dates, you know all the works. And turned out, my girls really have been missing me; especially Alice, oh and Shane, well Dana too, in fact all of them missed me a great deal. I have been able to forget Tina; well once in a while she was in my thoughts, the more so when I went to Milk when I heard Alice mentioned her name while having breakfast.

Dana: Come on Al! I cant believe you still think about it!

Shane: Yeah Al, give it a rest! Theres no way itll happen. I mean if Bette wanted it to it will but you know how Bette is

Bette: So how am I Shane?

Shane: Oh hey Bette I didnt see you come in. Umm Alice here was just telling us how you lost the bet?

Bette: She did now didnt she?

Alice: yeah I mean come on Bette. Its not like you had a chance with her or anything! Just accept the fact that you lost!

Bette: Do you even remember who youre talking to Al?

Alice rolled her eyes. God she doesnt stop now does she? There must be a way to bring this to a stop!

Bette: If I wanted her, Id have her Al. Im just not interested at the moment.

Well thats a total lie! I really wish I have her by my side. But she made it clear to me she didnt want me so what am I to do? I cant just force someone out of a relationship!

Dana: Anyways guys. You guys are still on for tonight right?

Alice: Tonight?

Dana: Im hosting a dinner party! Im having a few people over from the country club; hey dont give me that look Al! Its my turn to hold this whatever you call it and Id feel out of place if you guys didnt come.

I hated Danas dinner party! Theyre all full of straight people. Not that I mind hanging out with straight people or loathe them; just that her friends dont actually know Danas playing for the opposite team. Theyre never fun; theyre always full of wannabes. And Im not sure why Dana hangs out with them anyway! Plus did I mention theyre all STRAIGHT?!?!

Dana: Come on guys, you can bring dates!

Bette: Oh Dane! Do we have to bring a guy with us?

Alice: I dont really mind!

Shane: Come out of it Dana! Theyre not true friends if they cant accept who you are.

Bette: Yeah Dana! Plus who am I supposed to bring tonight? And Shane for that mater?

Dana: You can always bring your assistant Jason! Alice thinks hes cute anyway.

Bette: Does it matter? Ok Ok! Dont give me that look?! Fine. Ill bring him. I just dont want to have to why do I even bother. Ill see you guys later!

I arrived at Danas dinner party late as usual. Its not that I didnt support her anything; its just that I couldnt stand her guests. I told Jason exactly what the party was about; its about us trying to make an impression that Dana is straight and so are we And how Dana isnt ready to tell the whole world shes ***** yet. He just smiled and nodded in understanding. Good thing I have Jason, otherwise how do I pick up guys? I havent done it for a long time now and besides I never pick up guys, they tend to find me!

The party was as usual; full of straight country club pricks. I really dont know how Dana can stand them. Five minutes into conversation with one of them I already switched my brains off. I made small talks and around ten I had to tell Dana a small but very overly used lie for this kind of occasion that I had another appointment. And so did Shane, Alice and Marina. We went straight to Milk right after.

As we arrived at Milk, it was definitely a change in scenery. As soon as I got there I already found someone I knew I wanted to go home with. I didnt have to search and roam the place. She was just there right in front of my eyes; brunette with a sweet smile and ready to be taken under my spell. Alexis that was her name. If only I could remember that name the morning after; I tend to forget their names. And if only the morning after actually did arrive.

I took her to see my gallery after we left Milk. I dont really use my gallery as a pick up point but it was just that the ladies I bring home tend to want to see it for themselves. So I took her there; took her for a tour, a midnight tour involving describing my favourite pieces and kissing in between. It was great like that I never feel lonely.

As the clock ticked twelve, it was time to go home and take my date to what was expected for the night. I have this reputation of greatly satisfying my partner (for the night) in bed, or so I had been told. So this should be no exception.

Alexis: So Bette, where should we go next?

As if she didnt know where were going and what we would be doing for that matter!

Bette: Your place or mine?

Alexis: I think we should go back to mine. I think it should be much closer than yours.

Bette: Okay.

I lead Alexis back to the way we came in while switching off the main lights as we pass by the main gallery. As we got to the door, Alexis pushed me against the wall and started kissing me. Whoa! This wasnt what I had expected but it could do too. I laughed as she found my ticklish spot. I gently pushed her back. I was laughing at her attempt to fight back. I grabbed the door handle and opened it.

Bette: Hey, we dont want to spoil this now do we? We should head back to your place before things get further?

Suddenly Alexis stopped laughing and she wasnt even looking at me. I wondered what was wrong so I turned around and shifted my gaze to where Alexis was.

I couldnt believe my eyes. There she was looking straight at me; her eyes wide. And right at that instant, the same emotions and feelings came running back to me the first time I met her. She was back in my life again, back in my head, back in my thoughts, and as ever, she still was the one and only person I crave for. And right at that second, I forgot who I was out to please; the only person I want to give my everything to was the person looking right straight at me with the most unreadable expression.
