In the bathroom

Shane went into the bathroom finding it empty except for the girl standing infront of the sink. Shane gave her a hug from behind and she felt Dana jump.

Shane: Dana, Alice didn’t know. If she knew I’m sure she never would have said anything.

Dana turned around and hugged her sobbing into her shoulder.

Dana: I think that I have to tell them.

Shane: If that is what you want to do then I support you and I’ll be there for you every step of the way.

Dana: It’s not really that I want to tell them, I mean they are my friends, but something like this shouldn’t happen again.

Back with everyone else

Alice: They’ve been in there a while.

Bette: Yeah what do you think is going on with Dana?

Tina: Something happend last night but I’m not sure what.

Tina got up and walked towards the bathroom. She got to the door and opened it slightly so that she could hear what was going on.

In the bathroom

Dana: How am I going to tell them the truth? How am I going to tell them I was…r..raped.

With that Tina came in to the bathroom.

Tina: Dana, how could you think that you couldn’t tell us.

Dana: Tina I’m sorry I jsut have a lot going on. Shane was there for me when I needed someone and she was the only one that knew the truth. I didn’t want the whole world to know.

Tina: The whole world I can understand but your close friends? You couldn’t even tell them?

Tina was really taking offense to this. She had thought that Dana and her were close. Tina walked out of the bathroom and left. Bette saw her go and went after her leaving Alice sitting alone.

Back in the bathroom

Dana: This is why I didn’t want to tell anyone. What if Alice, and Bette react the same way?

Dana sank to the floor her body shaking. Alice came in and saw Dana like this with Shane standing off to the side.

Alice tried to get close to her but Dana felt the touch and crawled over to the corner.

Alice: Dana? What;s wrong babe? Shane, will someone tell me what is going on?

Dana: I can’t you’ll run like Tina. You’ll be mad that I didn’t tell you.

Alice was trying to get close to Dana without touching her.

Alice: Dana, I could never be mad at you for something you choose not to tell me. It is up to you if you want to tell me something that is going on in your life.

Dana: I can’t do this. Shane you can tell her but I jsut want to go home. I’ll meet you in the car okay.

Shane: Okay Dana.

Shane embraced her in a hug.

Shane: Are you sure that you want me to tell her? If you want to tell ehr then I will be here for you the whole time.

Dana: You tell her I can’t live it over again.

With that Dana left and Alice starred at Shane with a questioning look on her face.

Alice: Shane, what is wrong with Dana? What happend last night?

Shane: Last night when I told you that I had to go make sure Dana was alright, she wasn’t. I knew that she wasn’t going to be alright becasue I know the kind of person Jo is and I know how Dana is. By the time I got to Dana’s house…

Even Shane was tearing up.

By the time I got there they were in the bedroom and Jo was on top of her and she was raping Dana.

Alice: OMG. And I made that stupid comment. How could I have been so inconsiderate?

Shane: It’s not your fault you didn’t know. When I came in here after she ran that was the first thing I said, that you wouldn’t have said that if you had known.

They share an embrace.

Alice: OMG. Is that why she doesn’t want anyone touching her?

Shane nodded

Alice: And she’s so close to you becasue you were there. Because you saved her. You knew something was off. We let her go off with a complete stranger. But why did Tina run off?

Shane: SHe was really upset that Dana hadn’t told her from the beginning. She thought that Dana and her were closer then that.

Alice: Wow. Don’t worry I’ll talk to her. And I’m sure by now Tina has told Bette what is going on.

Shane: Proabably. And I’d like to keep up this convo but I gotta take Dana home. I’ll be staying with her for a couple days so either call there or my cell.

Alice and Shane hug once more

Alice: take care of her will you?

Shane: Of course.

She walked out of the bathroom and as she was coming out Jo was going in. Shane pulled her into the bathroom and slammed her against a stall, nearly missing Alice.

Shane: How dare you show your face here again.*punch* Do you know what you did to my friend? *punch* Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t kill you right now. *punch*

Jo: If you do who will protect your Dana? You’d be in jail and I got plenty of friends that wouldn’t mind banging her like I did.

This time it was Alice that punched her.

Alice: Don’t ever talk about Dana like she is a piece of meat.

Shane: Don’t let me ever see you in here again.

Jo: Well I see that you’ve changed a lot Shane. You use to be so weak and now you’re the agressure.

Shane: You don’t know anything about me now. Don’t think that you do. I’ve changed but obviouisly you haven’t.

Shane slammed her against the stall once more using all her rage and knocked her out.

Shane stormed out of the Planet with Alice in tow.

Alice caught up to her outside the Planet.

Alice: What was that about?

Shane: Whne I was 15 or 16 I was raped as well. That is not the only thing Dana and I have in common. Jo was the one that raped me as well.

Dana: What!?!?

Shane turned around to see Dana standing there with tears in her eyes.
