Man it was hot today in L.A people were outside, not wearing much, enjoying the weather but the blonde beauty was sitting home with the curtains still closed working on her article while the sweat was running down her neck damn deadlines` it had to be finished today.

Shane just came out of the shower, wearing tight light jeans and just pulling her shirt on drips of water was seen on her stomach and her still wet hair leaves trails of water down her neck, she walked towards Alice

“*****, hot, hot, hot man” she swept the sweat off her forehead
Shane couldn’t resist and went in playful mode
“Gee, thanks Al, I know”
“Smartass I meant the weather”
“well duhhh” Shane stook out her tongue
they both laughed, Alice finally looked up and saw her friend in the light jeans and the white tanktop, short messy almost spiky hair going every way and Alice gasped looking down immediatly
“Okay not only the weather whoa” she said not hearable for Shane

Shane smiled to her friend and grabbed her sigs and phone

“Okay Al i’m gonna go see ya”
“wtf? you’re not going home Shane”
“no no I mean you got stuff to do and me too”
“like what? you can do it here..”
“I’m going to work today”
“you what?”
“I need money..” Alice shook her head no “Al, just its just for 3hours and then I’ll be back here.. okay?”
“I can give you money… if you want to” Shane smiled at her friend
“Sweet but no I need to do something I can’t stay here all the time”

“it’s freaking hot and you gonna cut hair?” she looked at Shane like she was insane
“it’s freaking hot and you’re writing an article with the curtains closed?” Shane gave the same playfull look
“Aarrrgh…Okay, but what about your ribs?”
“if the pain becomes too much I’ll call you okay? besides my hands are doing the work not my ribs…”
Alice lifted up her eyebrow as Shane added: “Okay somehow that doesn’t sound right”
and they both had to laugh, Alice was caught off guard a little as Shane placed her lips near her lips
“bye babe” and she walked away
“Whoa you going to walk?”


Shane slapped her own head as she remebered “Oh ***** my truck is at home”

“no worries Casanova let me take you to Lather’s”
“no way you’re doing way too much for me already”
Alice shook her head a little knowing her friend doesnt like it when people help her or are trying to
“Shane?”
“yes?” she knew she wasnt going to win
“Shut up..”
“sure”

and on the road they go

the ride was loud and fun as music was playing and both sang along on Tina Turners song ‘Rolling down the river’
Shane laughed out loud as Alice was singing wayyyyy out of line but hey who cares?the whole time she was watching the blonde girl, she had Shane’s glasses on which made her look even hotter, ‘how hotter can she be’? Shane smiled and shook her head.
They arrive and Shane quickly gave Alice another kiss, on her mouth.
“Thanks Al” The blonde blushed a little “No Prob, I’ll pick you up at three”

Dana was sitting in the livingroom, Mark left after showing the tape and gave it to her, he wanted Shane to have it but Dana told him it would be better if she gave it herself cause she wouldnt want to know people saw her weakness and talents after all Shane was a closed book. Lara was gone and she was thinking of last night, the guy Mark, who showed her a whole other side of Shane, she was thinking when the tape was made, 7/8 months ago… that was only a few months after the Jaffe Fiasco which fucked her up big time, maybe that was why, she was crying out…

she turned on the tv, and setted the tape on again, watching her friend

The room was white, the soundroom was behind it but no one was there.
A drumkit was seen in the room and a black piano wing,, the floor was white as well made the room giving a very peacefull effect in its own way.
After a few moments a slim figure wearing black faded pants and a grey hoodie her hair long and messy walked in obviously wanting to be alone, the slim person noticed the piano and walked towards it letting her ringers running on the keys as she walked by she looked at it while walking around the instrument, she lit up a sigarette moments later she sat down.

Her fingers still stroking the keys, she looked up at the ceiling, closed her eyes, took the sig out her mouth and lay it on the asthray on the piano and the first tunes of the melody floated through the room, she hung her head down eyes still closed, the play was dramatic yet beautiful.



Dana closed her eyes at the sound and shivered when a husky voice flew in and the piano played again

She combs her hair & cleans her face
closes the door and kneels to pray
It don’t matter that she’s alone
beast or dragon she’s going home


Altho her voice was husky already, the voice carried the pain inside along every word she sang.
The song was from Beth Hart known as an artist with an awakening voice, it fitted Shane perfectly the song however was made for her, the words felt the emotions and the emotions felt the pain.

Dana watched the dark haired girl siging out her emotions, suddenly she felt sorry for being so rude at that time, she thought shane wasn’t affected by the Jaffe thing , only 2weeks ago, the drama continued and Dana wasn’t there for her… she felt so quilty and now this a guy named mark searched for Shane for so long, brought a tape, and there she is…

She found today so hard to say

Shane lifted her head up still eyes closed and a single tear trailed down her cheek as she continued

As Shane screamed out those words Dana felt hot tears, she was so surprised altho this was the third time she saw the tape she never knew Shane could sing, nor play the piano, nor that she could feel..

she was not saying it was love but feel, emotions! but by seeing this she knew she could… oh ***** yes she could. she looked on as the music started again.

the keys left their final tune and Shane finally opened her eyes.. as she broke down in her room of secrets

Alice picked Shane up and told her they had to drop the article, almost deadline time, and they would be off to the beach getting something to drink.
They stepped out the car and Shane stared at the huge building, surprised this was the first time she saw Alice’s workplace or maybe she couldn’t remember it

“whoa…” Shane let out and the blonde smiled
“So this is where gossip is born?” She added
“yep… it is… place to be”
“nahhh the beach is..”
“Okay true”

Shane waited next to the elevator on the 14th floor as Alice came back smiling cause she was on time.
The elevator took a bit long before arrive and it made a strange noise which caused them both to look at each other for a minute but okay they stepped in.

12th# floor *CrrrrrrrraaassssshhhH*

“Okay what the ***** was that? Shane said as she struggled to get up
“Ehhh Shane?
“Yeah…? ”
“We’re stuck..” Alice muttered
“Oh ***** no”
