    Halloween Challenge

    Devilish Dream

    Tina was alone at home. Her parents were having dinner with friends. Her older brother, Andy and her younger brother, Matt were to a Halloween party some dude from school had organized. The 19-year old said that ‘It was so not her scene’. She decided to stay in and watch horror movies with her dog, Dolly. She was watching the movie when she got thirsty. She walked to the kitchen and wanted to take a glass out of the cupboard but when she opened it, there was nothing there but blackness. She couldn’t see any glasses. Maybe a lot of them where in the dishwasher? There would probably be some in the back. She reached in deeper but there was nothing, she wanted to pull back to look somewhere else but was shocked to discover that she couldn’t get it out anymore. The more she pulled, the deeper she sank into the darkness. She wanted to scream for help but she couldn’t. Then, suddenly, she lost consciousness.

    When she woke up, she didn’t know where she was. Before she had the time to recover and look around, she heard a voice.

    “Hey.”

    She sat up and shook her head before she looked into the dark eyes of a young woman she didn’t know. Then she noticed the two horns and red clothes she was wearing.

    “Who are you? Where am I?” Tina asked, panicking a little.

    The brunette smiled, not sounding unfriendly she said. “I’m the princess and you are in the garden of my palace, which is punishable. Who are you, huh? You don’t look like a creature of the Kingdom of Darkness.” There was a teasing tone in her voice.

    “I… I don’t know what I’m doing here. I don’t even know how I got here. I was just getting something to drink when I only saw emptiness and darkness which swallowed me and I lost consciousness.” Tina tried to explain, a little bit scared that she would be punished.

    Bette looked at her and then slowly nodded, grinning and then asked a question as if she already knew the answer. “So, what are you then?”

    “A human. What are you?” Tina asked, slowly standing up.

    The red covered smiled a crooked smile. “A devil.”

    6. Lol… Forget potion huh?! :-D when I read Bette as the devil, it crossed my mind that would that be interesting if the Devil wears prada is as gorgeous as her ;-)
