    “Just put her to sleep,” Tina whispered to herself as she neared the brunette.

     

    "Uh, I’m so full," Bette laughed, rubbing her stomach as she put her plate down.

    Tina laughed to herself, putting down her plate as well.

    "Oh my," Bette stretched, tilting her head back and extending her arms. Tina tried not to stare as she moved their paper plates to the side so she could better focus on her work. She pursed her lips, seeing that it was time for Bette to leave and pick up Angelica from preschool already. Where had the time gone?

    "I umm …" Tina mumbled, resting her head in her hands, "I think it’s time to get Angelica." As much as she desperately wanted some more one-on-one time with Bette, she cared even more about Angelica’s well being.

    "Oh! Yeah," Bette said, just realizing what time it was. "Thanks babe."

    When Bette smiled and looked down to Tina, the blonde thought her heart would melt right there, on the spot.

    "Uh …" Tina started, not sure what to say as she felt a tingle throughout her body.

    "See you later babe," Bette chirped, leaning down to kiss Tina tenderly on the lips. Tina closed her eyes, realizing there was no time to linger, but felt the need to imagine it lasted longer. She felt her lips warm under the pressure of Bette’s as the brunette turned around to get her purse. Meanwhile, Tina reached her fingers up to touch her lips where Bette’s had been, gently letting her breath escape.

    Before Bette turned back around, Tina had snapped back to reality, her mind focused on her work.

    "Bette, thank you so much." Tina smiled, "I couldn’t have done this without you."

    "Anytime babe," Bette smiled back, opening the door, "Wish I could stay longer!"

    "Me too babe," Tina admitted as Bette waved and closed the door behind her.Tina pursed her lips again before breaking into a smile with the reminder of Bette’s recent presence.

    "I love you," Tina whispered to no one as she looked down to the papers, lost in thought.

    Once Bette had arrived home with Angelica, she made her way to the kitchen. "You hungry Angie?"

    "Yes," Angelica smiled, putting her hands on her hips mischievously. Bette laughed and shook her head at her wonderful daughter.

    "Okay sweetie," Bette smiled, "You can go play, okay? Momma’s gonna make something for you to eat."

    2. You know I love everything you write ;) What I don’t understand is why Tina can’t initiate sex with Bette, it’s not like Bette has to do it all the time.why is Tina so shy about it and insecure??? Loved it =D

    4. I think the fact that Tina seems shy is that she knows Bette’s tired in this case (and she might be a little insecure at this point). Just wait and see what happens …
