Chapter 31

“Sounds like you have given this a lot of thought.”
“Maybe a little, but I can’t help thinking about our future babe” Tina leaned in and captured Bette’s lips in a passionate kiss.
“Mmmmm” Bette moaned into the kiss. “Let’s go to bed T”
“I thought you’d never ask” Tina said with a sultry smile.
* * * * *
Bette’s phone rang as she sat in her car in the parking lot of the doctor’s office, her nerves intensifying with ever minute that ticked by on the clock.
“T?”
“Yeah Baby…I’m on my way… I thought that meeting would never get over with. I was so scared I wasn’t going to get out of there in time.”
“T.. relax babe. You need to calm down”
“I’m Ok Bette, I just need to get there. I want to be there. You have no idea how much this means to me Bette!”
“Tina I understand, I just don’t want you to get in a wreck. We still have ten minutes before we have to go up and fill out the paperwork, let alone see the doctor, the studio is only two miles down the road. Just relax Ok.”
“I know Bette… I just need to be there with you. It is really important to me.”
“T.. you have been here by my side through everything… more than I ever expected you to! But let’s talk about this later, I don’t want you anymore upset while you are driving.”
“Babe I will be fine I promise.. just as soon as I get there.”
Bette’s nerves were now in full swing as she waited the five minutes it took Tina to get there. Between worrying about Tina and the nerves about the doctors appointment she was a wreck. Until a sudden calm came out of no where. She looked in her rear view mirror and instantly knew the source of the calm as she saw Tina pulling into the parking lot.
“Babe I’m so sorry.”
“T its Ok.. you made it!” Bette said as she got out of the car to meet Tina’s awaiting arms.

Love how they are so there for each other. But they need to relax just a bit.
I don’t understand the source of the trepidations Tina is feeling. Suppose it is just because everything is so new for them and she had to be alone with her children and she understands the feeling and just doesn’t want Bette to experience that feeling. Hopefully that’s all it is about. Great chapter. PPS or Post when you can.

Ok you’re a hopeless romantic, but I like it. I totally agree with you about the ex thing it should only bring them much closer together. This was such a sweet chapter With Tina so nervous about maybe missing the appt. and thinking Bette would feel she had abandoned her I can tell these girls are so deeply in love and will continue to love and cherish each other come hell or high water. As for the NC_17 don’t give it another thought,the girls will let you know when they are ready for it just let them lead you. Wherever this journey is taking us I will be there for all of it. Keep up the great work PPS.

Awww, that paper night gown. Why do they make those things anyway? I am so glad that Tina feels as strongly as she does. Bette is a lucky woman to have found someone who not only loves her and Colin but is willing to stand with her while she has this new baby.
tina was so sweet to be there for bette… if tina is on emotional overload now, what will happen when be gets ready to deliver? okay lets get bette’s house all situated and get them living together! :)PPS

Hey TB513, I am just caught up with your wonderful writing. I am just loving the adoration between Bette and Tina. The world is a happier place when these gals are together. I love how their relationship has blossomed so quickly and the children and their friends and family realized that all was well and correct once they were in each other’s arms. This latest chapter showed just how much their time together is worth. Tina needed to be with Bette as much as Bette needed her there. Just awesome. I loved it. Many thanks. A Fan
