Chapter 7

The sun slowly crept in the window like a thief, the treasure it sought was time. As the brightness in the room grew, so did the feelings in Danas fragile heart, mending it and making it stronger. The events of the previous night, no hours swam in her mind. She turned over and hugged the object of her affection that lay next to her.

What the Danas eyes flew open to find the object in her arms was a pillow and that she was in her own bed. Oh my Goddont tell me that it was all a dream. She held the pillow tighter and began to sob uncontrollably. No, it couldnt have been, I felt her, I could taste her skin. Her eyes closed tight to try and fight the tears to no avail. I can hear her calling my name right now.

Dana

God, why are you doing this to me? Why cant I have some happinessplease

The sobs of sadness took over Danas body and she fell back on the bed, her body almost convulsing.

Dana, baby wake up.

Dana slowly opened her eyes again, knowing that she was going to be alone. She could swear she could feel Lara touching her arm, but she knew that it couldnt be.

Baby, please wake up, its okay. Im right here and youre safe.

Dana finally woke up, let go of the pillow and flew into Laras arms. She held on like a lost child who was just reunited with her mother as her sobs continued.

Dana you were having a nightmare, its okay now. The hug became tighter, more desperate. Dana thought if she let go, Lara would be no more. Baby, – I cant breathe Lara said gasping for air.

Oh God, Im sorry. I didnt hurt you did I? Dana asked as she loosened her grip ever so slightly.

Its okeverything is okay. Lara didnt let go of Dana completely, as she started to gently rub her back trying to relax Dana. Do you wanna talk about it?

Iyouwe Dana couldnt put a coherent thought or sentence together. All she could do was thank God that it was just a nightmare.

Shhhhit will be ok. Im not going anywhere Dana.

Danas sobs finally began to subside and Lara pulled back to look into her lovers eyes. She cupped Danas cheeks and wiped away the tears with the pad of her thumbs and placed gentle kisses over Danas red swollen eyes.

Dana took in a deep cleansing breath and let it out. I thought last night was a dream. I woke up in my bed holding a pillow that I thought was you. Danas face seemed pained. It all seemed so real. I thought it was punishment for the way that I treated you, like God was playing a cruel joke on me. Danas head dropped at the last statement and she started to play with the sheet. Tears began to well up again and Lara pulled her back into an embrace.

Baby, last night was a dreama dream come true. I felt things I never thought possible. You did things to me that Lara could feel Dana blush because of the heat in her cheeks that touched her skin as Dana buried her face deeper into Laras neck. Just let me say thisI love dating and athletethe flexibility, the stamina she brought her lips closer to Danas ear, lightly brushing it God, you are amazing.

Feeling Laras hot breath on her ear sent shivers down Danas spine. She began to kiss Laras neck, a little nip here, a little tongue there, working her way to Laras ear. Lara could feel the passion rising inside her, the ache growing stronger between her legs. Dana took Laras earlobe between her lips and gently sucked. She was driving Lara insane. No Dana lightly licked Laras ear you are the one that is amazing. With that, Dana began a feast where Laras neck met her ear. Lara let her head fall back, giving Dana even more access to continue her feast. Feeling her breath on her neck, hearing Danas breathing becoming more ragged, more desperate, Laras body began to tingle, as if it had been asleep and was awakening after a long slumber. Then came the words, I wanna make love to younow. I need to feel you. Dana pulled back to see Laras reaction to her desire, her right hand on the nape of Laras neck, her thumb brushing Laras flushed cheek. Her left brushed some strands of hair from Laras face and guided them behind her ear. It then traveled to Laras neck and began to mirror its mate. Danas eyes darted back and forth as if they were reading Laras face. No smile, just pure, unadulterated passion was evident in Danas face and her actions.

No wordsjust one simple kiss told Dana she had permission.

As Dana gingerly turned Lara around and laid her down on the bed, she could see the sun sparkle in her eyes. She couldnt help but stare.

What? Lara wondered why Dana had stopped and was just staring.

Lara cupped Danas cheek, Its not the sun that puts that sparkle in themits you. With that Lara slightly raised her head and pulled Dana closer to her. Nowwhat was it that you wanted to do? With that she took Danas lips prisoner.

Dana placed her body on top of Laras, their hands beginning their exploration. Dana broke the kiss, her voice raspy, This isnt what I want Lara looked shocked. She couldnt believe her ears. Then she saw itDanas shy grin. Its what I needI need you…

I need to feel you this time the kiss was not broken, it just grew deeper. Danas tongue invaded Laras waiting mouth. There was no fight for control, Dana had it all. Lara was a willing party to the ravishing that was about to take place. The electricity that passed between the two women was evident.

Dana straddled Laras hips and looked down at her lover. She ran the back of her hand down Laras cheek to her neck. Its journey continued to a precious valley. Her fingertips began their ascent up Laras luscious peaks. Goose bumps formed as shivers shot through Laras body. Dana bent down to take one of the peaks in her mouth, which elicited a low, appreciative moan from Lara. Her back arched to force her breast deeper into Danas mouth. Laras hands were entangled in Danas soft brown hair, massaging her head, almost pushing her further down. But Dana had a different plan. Lara looked deep into Danas eyes that were above her and said You made me feel loved and I havent felt this way in a long time. Lara was remembering everyone that had rejected her because of her lifestyle. Lara now diverted her eyes and slightly turned her head. You told me that I was the air that you breath, but you are the air that gave me a second chance at life. Tears streamed out of Laras eyes and Dana kissed them away.

I didnt think I could fall any deeper in love with you, but you just proved me wrong. With that, Dana turned Laras face back to her and placed a kiss upon her lips. Her mouth began its exploration of Laras body. Their flesh pressing against each other, rubbing together as Dana moved further down. Her hands, her fingers finding that Lara was ready to be taken, to have Dana inside. She slid her tongue down to her replace her fingers. She licked the juices that were already waiting for her. Her taste, her aroma just made Dana want more. Her tongue slid the length of the inner lips that were swollen and covered with passions sweet nectar. Her arms placed just under Laras thighs, wrapping around her hips to give her hands access to the protruding organ that needed to be showered with attention. As her tongue began to enter Lara to quench her thirst for this woman, her thumb began its assault on Laras *****.

Lara tried to move her hips, but she couldnt. Danas arms kept them trapped, letting her build the passion that was beginning to overflow. Lara grabbed two handfuls of sheets and twisted. I am better than okay. Lara turned on her side to face the woman who had just ravished her body. I have never had anything like that happen to me beforeyou just keep surprising me. Laras hand was now caressing Danas face. I cant move.

You dont have to. Dana wrapped her arms around Lara, pulled her close and placed a kiss upon her lips. Her tongue easily slid into Laras mouth. Dana kissed Lara slow and deep. How bout we just lay here like this for a while?

There is no other place I would rather be. Lara snuggled into Dana and they both fell asleep.

They both lay there dreaming about each other. All of a sudden, they awoke with a jolt. Danas phone was ringing. She didnt know where it was. Then she remembered that she dropped her purse by the door. She hated to leave Laras embrace, but it could have been Subaru she told Lara.

Dana now getting angry that her nap with Lara was interrupted, Who the ***** do you think you aremy mother?

I forgot! I am so sorry Alice. Danas tone turned apologetic.

Lara finally made her way to the hall and towards the kitchen, stopping to kiss Dana on the neck. Ill make some coffee.

The phones hung up and Dana turned to face the woman who was trying to frustrate her. You are so bad!

All Lara could do was smile and say Thank you. She then returned to Danas neck as the phone rang again.

Yes Alice now you ARE interrupting!

Honey, its not Alice.

Oh, hi mother. She froze and pushed Lara away gently. Im sorry, I just got off the phone with Alice and she has the habit of calling right back.

Thats ok honey, what did I interrupt?

Danas face became flushed. Her mind racing to find an excuse. Oh you didnt interrupt anything, I just didnt feel like talking to Alice again. Lara knew that Dana hadnt come out to her parents yet, but that comment sent a twinge of pain through her. Dana saw this and mouthed to her Im sorry.

Well, I wanted to let you know that I am getting an award and I would like you to be there.

Thats great mom. I am so happy for you. Of course I will be there. Do me a favor, call my house and leave all the information on my answering machine. I dont have a pen or paper right now.

Okay dear. I will talk to you soon. I love you.

I love you too mom. Bye. With that, Dana hung up the phone.

Baby Im sorry. I cant come out to my parents over the phone. Please understand. They are going to go ballistic. Dana was pleading with Lara.

Its okay. I know that you need to do it face-to-face. But it still hurts to hear some of the things you say.

Im sorry. I promise I will. I need to, the ads for Subaru will be coming out pretty soon and so will I, in a big way. Dana approached Lara and hugged her. But can we just stay in for today. I just want to be with you and only you. No more phone, nothing, except maybe some take out. Dana was trying to lighten the mood, but her heart was dreading the day that she would tell her parents.

Yeah, why dont we go finish our nap and then we can think of things that we can do, okay?

With that, they grabbed their cups of coffee and headed for the bedroom. Dana snuggled into Lara and held on, her head on Laras chest. Lara looked up and knew that this was only the beginning, the beginning of ***** for Dana, which meant the beginning of ***** for her.
