    Jo, Emma, Rosita, Eva, Vaughn and Sydney go on a mission – Quin & Tina have an awkward dinner – Carmen learns about Eva & Rosita throws out a thought that makes Carm think – Lara gets an eyefull – Shane, Sam & Shay share a moment – Bette had trouble w/Phyllis – Jo learns about a possible wedding in the future….

    Collision Course 4.65

     

    Takes place over a week’s time…..

     

     

                “Phantom, what have you got?” asked Sydney over the ear com, they, she, Vaughn and Eva were sitting in the back of the very hot van; Vaughn had pulled his tie off and was fanning himself with a small phone book.

     

                “Way to many people,” grumbled Jo who was dressed in a suit, her hair slicked back, looking very dapper and sexy.  “How close do I have to get this thing to the vault for you to open it electronically?”

     

                “You gotta get it at least within eight feet,” came the voice of Papi, whose call name was now Vortex, which she didn’t quite like.  Papi had a much sexier ring to it, Vortex made her think that she was going down the drain or something as unsexy as that.

     

                “Ask something hard of me, why don’t you?” mumbled Jo.  A guard was posted close to where she thought she needed to go, most Kindred houses were built the same, so she was guessing, but her guesses were usually right.  Her head blared hard, for some reason her head was aching.

     

                “Oracle, let’s work this party into a frenzy,” said Michael watching on the monitors that Eva had hacked into, her saw Jo’s discomfort over the monitors, something was up with the usually unflappable FBI Agent.  They were at a very swanky ball, in what used to be, the London Kindred house.  Jo kept getting the shivers, and she didn’t like it.

     

                Emma smiled then turning to Rosita, who was sitting next to her at the ornately decorated table, “Care to dance?” asked Emma sexily, Emma’s dark hazel eyes dancing in delight.  Both were dressed to impressed, Emma in a dark yellow silky dress that showed off more leg than Jo’d seen from Emma in a long time.  Rosita, on the other hand, wore a tux, feeling very gender bender this evening, wisps of her dark hair framed her face, falling into her eyes, making her truly charismatic.

     

                “Damn, someone better never find out about this…,” grumbled the Latina taking Emma’s hand and they moved to the dance floor.  Emma slid up against Rosita, making the Latina blush hotly.  Emma could move, observed Rosita, swallowing away the hot flash that was rushing through her.

    1. Very well put Seahurst and I second that! Noooooo, I know your are only teasing with all that fore shadowing. Ro to Carmen, if Sam weren’t around. Jo would only let Bette marry someone else over her dead body. Big sigh. Tina and Quin nice – Julie missed out. I think, I want to date Quin. LOL. PS don’t think I didn’t notice the statement about changing the future, that ought to be a very large dilemma for Jo.

I’ve been knocked for six, and I don’t know what just happened… Kindred, vampires, Lara-Doyle, Carmen still loves Shane, Tina maybe loves Quin, Bette marrying someone… – WHAT??? I’m totally lost, and you ended it so cruelly… I need more please. As of like, now. Cheers Janet, thanks for the post.

    7. WHAT!!!!! Janet, there are drama queens…those who write one drama scene after another as a substitute for three dimensional characters and depth of story, and then there is you…the queen of drama. This story you are telling is complex and full of nuances. Your characters have layers upon layers. You make the drama just one element in a complete and very well rounded story. You don’t just make the story about the drama. THAT is why I love reading your writing…and why I continually thank you for sharing your talent with us. Now…just who the hell is Bette marrying? Or, did I read that wrong?!!!
