Tina had always suffered from insomnia and so despite the fact that she was completely exhausted from the night of passion she and Bette had shared, she was wide awake. But for the first time, she didnt mind. she was content to just watch Bette sleeping and fall in love with her all over again, the soft curves of her body underneath the sheet, the tiny smile which was on her lips as she was dreaming, the soft rise and fall of her chest as she was breathing were all the little things she was noticing and falling in love with. This was the Bette that no one else saw, relaxed, content and vulnerable and Tina could not believe she was the woman whom Bette chose to share this with, to give her heart too. She watched as the sun rose and gently cast light onto her sleeping lover, casting shadows across her body and adding new depths. Tina couldnt suppress the grin that spread across her face as she remembered last night, how she had opened herself up to Bette and shown her who she really was. Tina was so used to hiding, to putting up walls of confidence, which were never really more than that. She was so used to pretending that everything was ok and never letting anyone see how little confidence she had but with Bette it was different. She wanted Bette to see her, all of her, her insecurities as well as her strengths. She felt safe in Bettes arms and confident in her presence, she felt as though nothing could harm her as long as she had the love of the woman lying next to her. For a long time, Tina never really felt she deserved this and a part of her was still sure Bette would change her mind but just as she thought this, Bette reached out for her and whispered I love you, it was a though she knew Tina needed to hear it and her insecurities vanished. She snuggled closer to Bette and said she loved her too before gently touching her lips to Bettes, not wanting to wake her but needing to feel her lips against hers.

Bette was dimly aware of Tinas lips touching hers and her body coming into more contact with Tinas and a seductive smile spread across her face. shes insatiable thought Tina as she started to caress Bettes back while nibbling on her ear. This was the kind of wake up call Bette could get used too, she also wanted to see how far Tina would go to wake her up so she kept her eyes shut and pretended she was still sleeping. Tina was unaware of the game Bette was playing and was lost in feel of Bettes skin under her fingers, she just wanted to touch her and be as close to her as possible. Both she and Bette and the same thought running through their heads. I could stay like this forever

Soooo Miss Porter, you decided to join us today? Alice hadnt seen her friend this happy and she knew something had changed with the hot little ballet teacher and was struggling to contain her bubbling excitement at the potential gossip.

Wipe that grin off your face Al, my lips are sealed! Bette said, knowing full well that Al was going to grill about her relationship with Tina just as surely as she knew Alice would gloat at the fact that it was her who brought them together.

Shane and Dana just looked at each other and smiled, knowing that they could just sit there and Al would do all the work in finding out how Bette and Tina were doing. They all loved Tina and knew that she made Bette happy and just hoped that things would work out for the two of them. Shane could not help but think how cute they were together, the fact that they could not keep their hands or their eyes. to themselves, they were lost in each other and Dana couldnt help but feel that something like that would never happen to her. She was so far in the closet and so practiced at being a wall flower that no one would look at the geeky tennis player sitting in the corner long enough to want to form a relationship with her. Al could see these thoughts playing across Danas face and couldnt help thinking how cute she was, she was so clueless, she didnt even realise how hot she actually was which made her even hotter in Als mind.

So, where is the little hottie then Miss Porter, left you already has she?

No Al, as a matter of fact she hasnt. She had to get up early to see her physiotherapist so that she could teach today. Bette realised she had inadvertently given Al the information she was craving

So you stayed at her place then did ya. The Porter charm strikes again, I knew it!! Al announced with a triumphant grin on her face

Al, promise you wont say anything when T get here. I dont want to scare her off, this is all new to her?

Now Bette why would I want to do that, because of Tina we have all been spared the wrath of Porter!

Just as she said this, she noticed the goofy smile cracking the usually calm faade of one Bette Porter and looked towards the door. Tina had just walked in and had spotted Bette, the same goofy smile was reflected in her face. The gang noticed that Tina was having trouble walking and they all looked at Bette as if to say what did you do to that poor woman. Bette could not believe the looks she was getting and felt the need to exonerate herself and told them Tina had a back problem which is why she went to the physio

It had nothing to do with me well maybe a little but not all of it! she stated as the girls clearly did not believe her. Just then they caught a brief sight of her support as she bent down to plant a kiss on Bettes lips.

Al, partly out of concern and mostly out of curiosity asked Tina if she was feeling ok and if she had hurt her back.

Im fine Al, just an old injury which needs to be looked after once in a while or I become a cripple for a few days. I overdid it in class yesterday and danced more than I should

Tina could not suppress the blush that stained her cheeks as she remembered what else she did last night which contributed to her early morning physio session. Bette on the other hand looked as innocent as anything and Tina could not help but wish she could pull off the same as she noticed the knowing looks of the others at the table.

Tina enjoyed this morning ritual which she had become apart of, over the past month she grew to love Alice, Shane and Dana. They made her feel at home and welcomed her with open arms, it seemed so natural talking and joking with them and she was slowly forgetting how hard she had found it in the past to make friends. She knew that no matter what happened, this would be a move she would never regret.

They spent the morning catching up as, Al was always ready to point out, the two of them had not spent much time with the gang since they started seeing each other. Tina had also been introduced to another member of the gang today, an exotic brunette called Marina who she later found out was the owner of the little caf she enjoyed so much. Al had made them promise to meet up with her, Shane and Dana at Milk and even enticed Tina a little with the promise that she could see the biggest Stud in L.A in action. Tina had the table in hysterics when she asked who exactly this stud was and blushing ferociously when she found out it was Shane.
