The next morning, Bette also wakes up first. She starts her day with putting the last clothes and stuff into her suitcases. She sees that the light on the answering machine is blinking, so she walks over and pushes play.

“You have one new message” The machine says.

“Hey, Bette, it’s me Camilla, I just wanted to know if I could stop by today, I know it’s your last day here, I just wanted to say goodbye to you. Give me a call as soon as you hear this and tell me when I can come over. Bye.” Camilla said into the phone.

Bette smiles, she picks up her cell-phone and dials Camilla’s number.

“Hey Camilla, it’s me Bette.” Bette says.

“Bette, hi. I was hoping you would call me back. How are you?” Camilla asks.

“I’m good, still can’t believe what’s happened but, have to accept it in some way, right?” Bette says.

“I’m sorry about all of it.” Camilla says.

“It’s not your fault. So don’t think about it.” Bette says.

“I know that I guess, but it still feels like I could’ve done something more.” Camilla says.

“Well what is done, is done. So, you wanted to come over?” Bette asks.

“Yeah, if it’s okay with you and Tina. I won’t stay long.” Camilla says.

“Sure, come on over. Tina is still asleep but, let’s say an hour?” Bette suggests.

“Yeah, I’ll be there. See you then. Bye.” Camilla says and they hang up.

Bette makes coffee and takes a cup with her into the bedroom. Tina is still sleeping. She sets it down on the bedside table and takes a seat on the edge of the bed. She looks at Tina and carefully moves her hair from her face. Tina stirs at the touch and slowly wakes up. She stretches and opens her eyes.

“Hey baby.” She says tiredly.

“Hey sweetie.” Bette replies and leans down and kisses Tina softly on her forehead. “Camilla is coming over in an hour.” Bette says.

“Oh okay. I should get up then.” Tina says and tries to sit up.

“Don’t rush it, you still have a few minutes to doze a little.” Bette says and smiles. Tina lay back down. Bette jumps over her and lay down beside her.
