Chapter 27
At hearing the phone, Shane stumbled out of the bathroom. She reached the kitchen just as April filled a cup of coffee.
“Hey there !” She greeted.
Her hair was still mussed and she looked so adorable in her panties and t-shirt, April nearly lost her grip on the coffee pot.
Shane took the necessary steps into her direction and stood in front of her.
They glanced at each other.
“Good morning.” April said quietly, then leaned forward and tried to peck Shane on the cheek.
But at the same time Shane’s head turned and suddenly lips were on lips. Eyes closed involuntarily and both felt a new awareness with each other. Neither wanted to break the small kiss, but finally Shane regained her composure.
“Good morning to you too.” She smiled. “How are you ?”
“Hmm.. I’m fine. Still tired but otherwise I feel good.” April studied Shane. “You on the other hand look a little green around the gills.”
Shane smiled sheepishly. “Yes, I’m not so peachy right now. I raided the medicin cabinet though. It will pass.”
“Okay, then take some OJ and something to eat ?”
Shane’s face took on another shade of green. “Eating ? No definitevly not !”
“Maybe later then. Shane, you need food, even if you’re thinking otherwise right now !”
Both took a seat and looked at each other again. Not mentioning the kiss, but thinking of it anyway.
“What are your plans for today ?” April asked.
“Who was that on the phone ?” Shane started at the same time.
They laughed and Shane motioned for April to go on.
“I don’t know. Never told me her name.” April shrugged.
“She ?” Shane had a suspicion now. “Hmmm.. I bet that was Tina. Wish I knew what’s wrong.”
“Maybe she just wanted to say hello ?” April grinned. “She didn’t say it to me though.”
“Okay, what did the person say ?” Shane asked now.
“Just asked who I am and then I heard the dialtone. Strange…”
Both sipped their coffee and contemplated the circumstances.
“It’s not important. Who ever that was will call again if it was urgent.” Shane finally said.
“I’m curious about one thing. Each and every one of you seems to be happy that Bette and Helena are together now. But what will happen when Tina’s gonna get that tidbit of information ?” April put her arms on the bar.

Hey Kiju great update girl. I love Shane & April together all nervous and not quite sure how to act towards each other. I definitely like Bette & Helena together so please keep them happy ok. Now what’s wrog with Da Queena? (Tina lol) Please post soon

I overslept, you see, cos someone was tossing and turning all night and I couldn’t sleep and since we were both awake…welll…and then I overslept and missed your last post and you didn’t even miss me!!! Hey can we rename this story the Blue Chronicles (LOL)? I just love that little guy. Bette needs to do some quick work to support Helena and make sure that she knows that Bette is committed to their relationship. So what is the deal w/Tine, wht’s her drama now? PPS!

Hey you posted, I was looking for your next chapter everyday. Glad you’re back….well no hot steaming sex but thoughts and feelings which make it much more interesting to read, at least for me it is. I love the way Shane and April interact and the playful banter between Helena and Bette. Mister Porter sure is a wise cat and you can tell by the way you write about him that you have a very soft spot for those cats. Kiju I loved this chapter very much and I hope the next one will follow shortly after this one. Thanks for posting and also thanks for the invitation for the BBQ baby ;-).

You should give yourself a little more credit. You have never disappointed me in your writing, and I doubt you ever will. I enjoy this story very much and I for one am glad that you wrote it. You have a good story here and the only disappointment that I would have would be if you were not too continue it. So never doubt your writing skills , you’re good. I was with you from chapter 1 and I’ll be with you until the end. So don’t worry there is no disappointment here, I’m just glad that you’re back.
