The planning. Stage 1

The week was flying by, and Tina wanted to get some of the planning for the ceremony done before Vanessa arrived. She knew once Van hit town she wouldnt have time. She wanted Bette and herself to make the major decisions this week, and of course both of their mothers had opinions and dont forget Alice. God Al was driving her crazy with everything, from flowers to party favors. She was tired of thinking about it right now so she called Bette.

Bette: Hello, Bette Porter.
Tina: Hey tall, dark and *****. Hows your day going?
Bette: smiling at Tinas voice. Better now that I have heard your voice. Hows yours?
Tina: Im okay, tired and ready to go home and relax.
Bette: Me too. What time will you be home?
Tina: Around six.
Bette: Okay, Ill stop and get Chinese.
Tina: You read my mind. So youll be cooking tonight? Laughing.
Bette: Um well I can use my kitchen skills anytime you want. Im here to serve babe. Bette was laughing. See you at six. Love you.
Tina: Bye, love you.

Tina came in the door at six on the nose; Bette came in fifteen minutes later.
Bette: Sweetie Im home and I stopped and got those magazines you wanted on weddings and ceremonies. Tina came in and helped with the bags kissing Bette.

Tina: Thank you baby ummm smells good.
Bette: Got your favorite spicy chicken.
Tina: You spoil me.
Bette: Thats right and I always will. She kissed Tina.
Tina: Lets sit and eat, relax, and start planning this event, before my mom, and Alice drive me to drinking.
Bette: Sounds good, Im starving.

They sat and ate and chatted about their days. After dinner they both changed and settled on the sofa with wine and the magazines.

Bette: You know, I want simple, nothing over the top.
Tina: Me too. We already committed to each other in my eyes, this is for everyone else. But I still want it kept simple.

Bette: I think we should decide the basics of when, where, and who we invite and let our moms and Alice, Erin, and Vanessa do the rest.
Tina: Yes, thats perfect. Okay When? May 9th is our anniversary, so lets do it then, its on a Saturday this year. Perfect! Its fate again baby.

Bette: kissing Tina. Yes it is. Okay Where? Why dont we have it at the Botanical Gardens, we love to go there for walks, our first real talk and date was there, and we still meet for lunch there sometimes. That way when we go there we will always remember.
Tina: Oh Bette its a great place for a ceremony, yes Ill call tomorrow to book it.

Bette: We can have the reception and party, yes we will party, at hotpepper(AmandaMG)s. She has the room and a pool and she can cater.
Tina: Great idea, and tinawho?, aaTnB and BTlover can help her. We can get campers and set them up on the land for everyone to stay so they wont be driving or have to get hotels.

Bette: Okay, done. Now we invite our families, parents, siblings, and of course Alice, Shane, Dana, and Vanessa. Ill invite Kim and Matt from the gallery.
Tina: Ill invite all the people at my office and I think we should invite all the Lword fanfiction writers..Without them we wouldnt be together.
Bette: Youre right of course; they need to be there to help us celebrate.

Tina slid close to Bette and closed the magazines.
Tina: Baby, I want us to write our own commitment vows.
Bette: Yeah, Id like that.
Tina leaned in and kissed her, letting her hand go to Bettes *****. Bette let out a low moan.

Tina: Lets go to bed, all this talk and you know what spicy chicken does to me.
Bette: I know it makes you horny, why do you think I get it for you. Laughing.

Tina got up and held her hand out to Bette; she took it and went with her. They stood in the bedroom and undressed each other slowly. Kissing the entire time. Looking at each other with nothing but love in their eyes.

They lay on the bed facing each other and still kissing and now touching the parts of each other they knew so well. But even as they caressed familiar places, it always felt new and like the first time. Their lovemaking always gave them new memories and new sensations, but always with the greatest love. They slowly made love, giving and receiving; wanting to please each other more than themselves, because ultimately thats what made them each more satisfied than anything.

Their bodies still sensitive after love making were sweating as they held each other nerve endings of edge. Bette traced her finger down Tinas sternum down to her stomach, her muscles quivered. Tina took Bettes hand and kissed it sending shivers up Bettes spine.

This was what life was about, finding love, enjoying it and your partner.
They fell asleep knowing they were loved and that life was good
