Bette: (Looking at Tina as if about to cry, and not being able to answer her questionsbut wanting so much to sooth this womans pain, she whispers) I dont know.

You not only fell for her, but you slept with her too..didnt you???..Thats why you cant tell me. Get the ***** away from me (as she pulls her hands from Bette.)
Bette: (unable to handle this situation stand up, and emotionless states) I cant talk to you in this state, maybe another time when your feeling more coherent, we can continue this. But for now I trust you are in good hands with Alice, so Im going now. You know how to reach me if you need too.
Tina: (looking disgusted) Oh No I dont!…If I did, we wouldnt be in this situation now would we??? But Go aheadRun awaythats what your good at anyway.
Bette: (closing her eyes and shaking her head, she turns and begin to walk outas she reaches for the door handle and without turning around she beseeches Alice) Alice, can I have my coat and bag please.
Alice: (looking guilty standing in the entrance to the living room having listen to every word rushes to get Bettes jacket and purse. As she hands it to Bette she gives her a look of Im sorry, Im feeling both of you right now)
Bette: (without looking up, opens the door to leave whispers to Alice) Nice Job Alice.
Bette walked out towards her car, pride in her step, as if all was well. Praying she wouldnt break down before she got behind the wheel of her car and drove offshe just couldnt process all that was happening. It didnt help matters, actually it infuriated her that the one person she wanted to run too or thought about to share all that she was going thru right now (all the pain, sorrow, and confusion) was CandiceThat jolt of anger made her step more controlled and less painful as she resolved not to call Candice when she would finally arrive home from this ordeal.
