Candace: Pardon me?
Bette: Never mind. Just take me somewhere.
Senior got back to the hospital just when Kit came through. The doctor said she would be fine and she should recover quickly without any problems.
Senior walked in to see Kit just lying there. It pained him to see his wife flat on her back, unable to move. And if she did move, she most likely would be in pain.
Senior: Hi, Foxy.
Kit: Hello?
Senior: The doctors said you will be ok. Bette and Tina are doing fine, and Nico is on his way to visit you.
Kit: I’m sorry but who are you, and what happened to me? And who are Bette……Tina…….and…..Nico?

The whole ride back to the hotel, Bette’s mind was constantly on Tina. Six to eight weeks was what the doctor said. That was right around the time their relationship started. The time when she was asking Bruce for a divorce.
Bette: (turning to look at Candace) Bruce! I need to go to the jailhouse. Please, can you take me there.
Candace: I don’t think that’s a good idea Bette, you’ve had a bad day. Let’s get you back and remove those bloodied clothes, get a nice bath and relax for the evening.
Bette: Will you help me relax?
Candace looked at Bette and noticed the pain in her eyes. She wanted so much to take away the pain. Make her forget this night ever happened. She wanted to take her back to her room. Remove her clothes and place her in the tub. While Bette was in the tub, Candace imagined investigating every inch of her body.
Candace wanted to see the sensuous slope of Bette’s breasts. Be delighted by the brownness of her nipples. She would ask Bette to stand; that way, she would notice her curve of her waist and hips…the flatness of her abdomen…the strength of her legs.
Candace would give anything to run her tongue up and down Bette’s inner thighs. Around her swollen, dipping lips.
Bette: Candace, are you going to help me?
Candace: Ms. Porter……..
Bette: Please call me Bette.

Man candy-ass really talks out of both sides of her mouth don’t ya think! But Bette needs to stop sleeping with whomever is sitting next to her at the time and has a pulse. I mean get some standards girl. Respect!
Candace is a true pig. How can she possible think about taking advantage of Bette in her emotionally unstable condition. Come on the women just was involved in a shooting, and found out that her girlfriend is pregnant. On top of that if she is pregnant, her hormones must also be whacking her out. Candace may not have all the facts, but she not blind to Bette’s pain. Don’t let it happen. Post soon, please.

I thought Candace was being decent right up until she answered the phone. At least Tina figured out how she got knocked up and who the father is.
i dont like this side of Bette.. all the time she feels insecure she go after other person.. this is not be inlove with someone..she should at least try to get any explanation with Tina first.. anyways.. great chapter.. i hope have more to come.. thanks ;-)
Yeah, Candace was taking the high road until the phone call–and it’s that much worse since she knows the bigger picture of what is going on! Oh, well–human nature. Shoot, if Bette’s naked body were that close to me, it would have shaken my resolve much more than her in a tub in the next room! So many pieces to pull together, woman! But I know you can do it in the exquisite way you do in all your fics! Hey, sometimes I can turn them around quickly for you–my pleasure, as always, baby!

Hey Suc, Good to hear you are on the mend. As for the story, you had me shouting at the screen. “Don’t belive it!!!” First to Bette about CandyAss’s moral stance and secondly to Tina as she hear Candace’s comments about Bette and the bath. These gals do need to trust one another but first they have to talk to each other to sort through the mess that other have created around them. I am sure a DNA test will prove the paternity of Tina’s child. And is Bette also pregnant. Nothing was said at the hospital but was it somethign they would have tested given her injuries. Now I really want to kick Candace’s ass ootta Bette’s room. I do hope that Kit will regain some of her memory soon and then she can then tell Bette the truth and hopefully reunite the family. Brilliant storytelling and dramatic licence taking. Loving it. I do hope you can post more of this devious drama soon. Your Loyal Fan.
