Bette was first to wake up the next morning. She looked over to see her pregnant wife sleeping on her side with pillows propped up all around her in hopes of gaining some relief from her constant back pains. Bette leant over and softly placed a kiss on Tina’s forehead before getting out of bed, throwing on her robe and heading out to the kitchen.

She rummaged through the fridge pulling out various pieces of fruit that Tina could still stomach. It seemed that everything now days made Tina’s stomach turn with just the thought of them. Their fruit variety has now been dwindled down to grapes, some pineapple and an over ripe pear. She quickly cut them up and placed them on a tray before quietly walking back into the room.

“Tina baby, time to wake up” she said softly as she sat down beside Tina on the bed. She gently brushed some of her hair out of her face. Smiling she bent slightly towards the ever growing baby bump.  “Come on little guy, time to get up” Bette said whispering down to Tina’s stomach. She gently reached out to touch Tina’s stomach. She couldn’t believe that this little guy was only a few days away. She leant forward and softly kissed Tina’s stomach.

“Good morning baby” Tina said softly smiling down at Bette.

“Good morning Tee” Bette smiled back, leaning up for a kiss. “I brought some fruit” she added reaching around to grab the tray.

“Oh that looks good” Tina said sitting up and wasting no time digging into it. “Thanks baby,” leaning over to give Bette another kiss.

“No problem” beamed Bette.

Just then Bette’s cell chimed in a text message. She reached over to read what it said. She took one glance and passed it to Tina. “It’s for you.”

“It is? Oh” Tina said taking the phone and glancing down at the screen. All it read was ‘9 days’ from Alice.  “She is one crazy woman” smiled Tina passing Bette back her phone.

“You could definitely say that again” laughed Bette as she places the phone down on the night stand. She then turned towards Tina, “so…9 days to go, anything you desperately want done?”
