    A trip to the hospital for…

    Tina was completely humiliated but what had just happened. She couldn’t believe that Eric would say such things. She knew that he was an ass but she never knew that he would take it that far. She wanted to disappear, she was sure that Bette wanted nothing to do with her. In the little time that they had been around each other she had caused nothing but problems for the brunette. She paced around the office not even knowing that Bette was leaning up against her desk just watching her with fascination.

     

    “Tina” Bette said softly walking over to her “Calm down”

     

    “I can’t believe that he would do something like that. Bette I am so sorry. I never thought that he would come here and cause a scene”

     

    “Tina it’s not your fault that Eric is a jack ass. What can I say? Shit happens.”

     

    “But the things he said. He had no right. I talked to him this morning and every thing was okay.”

     

    “It happens Tina. Calm down, please.”

     

    “I have never seen him be so venomous.”

     

    “Tina I have had people call me worse. It’s no big deal. My feelings aren’t hurt. I am not proud of my past and I can’t change it but I can change my future and I want to change. Not only for me but for the woman I care about”

     

    “You care about me?”

     

    “Yes Tina I do. You do something to me and I can’t explain what it is but you make me want to be a better person. I never thought that I would care about any one the way that I care about you. I have never just lain in a bed with a woman and felt as good as I did with you. I don’t expect you to do anything that you don’t want to do”

     

    “Oh Bette I care about you too. And at the same time I am so scared. I have never been with a woman before. I am afraid of what my parents will say. I am afraid that I won’t be good enough for you, that I won’t be able to satisfy you”

     

    “Tina Don’t worry about things like that. Let’s just take this as slow as you want. You set the rules and the speed. I could spend the rest of my days just staring in your eyes and kissing your lips and be satisfied. As for your parents you just have to take this one step at a time. When and if this is right for you then you’ll let them know or you won’t. What ever you want to do I am behind you one hundred percent”

    2. Ok, why was I sitting on pins and needles thinking the person lying on the ground was Eric waiting to jump Tina??? You had me with that one! Love the story so far. Bette will be protective of Tina around Shane. I think it’s cute that Tina called Bette her girlfriend when she was talking to Shane. PPS
