“We can’t keep doing this to each other” Dana said as she rolled out of Alice’s bed and began dressing while Alice watched, puzzled as to why Dana was acting this way.

“Wha…we had ***** that’s what couples are supposed to do” Dana stopped immediately and stared back at Alice.

“We’re not togther Alice we broke up…remember…you didn’t want to marry me so its obvious you don’t want to be with me so its over” Alice threw the covers off of the bed revealing her nude body and stomped over towards Dana.

“This is not about me not wanting to be with you this is about you being so hot and cold…one minute you’re kissing Lara in the hospital parking lot and the next minute you’re proposing to me…” Alice explained.

“I was showing you my love and devotion” Dana shouted.

“No you were afraid of losing me so you proposed to make it all better because you didn’t want to admit you still have feelings for Lara” Alice shouted back at her and Dana stared at her unable to say a word because maybe just maybe somewhere hidden away in a dark place she did still have some feelings left for Lara. Dana glared at Alice before turning and walking out the door…always running away thought Alice.


The Planet

“Okay see you guys later” Shane said to Kayla and Candace as she walked backwards and bumped into Nylan and Isiah. Shane immediately smiled at Isiah and barely made eye contact with Nylan yet another obstacle was testing their friendship. “Hey little man” she said running her fingers through Isiah’s curly locks.

“Go sit with your mommy” Nylan ordered and he waved bye to Shane before running to Kayla’s table. “Look Shane there’s no hard feelings about this whole situation I know you kept it a secret because Kayla asked you to….I was just being an ***** about everything…I’ve apologized to Kayla and I wanna know are we cool”. Shane eyed Nylan suspiciously before smiling and embracing her friend.

“Yeah we’re cool” they pulled out of the embrace,”Hey everyone’s going to be at Milk tonight”.

“I don’t know Kayla, Isiah, and I we’re going the family thing tonight…”Nylan began.

“It’s okay Isiah and I were discussing maybe having some time alone you know just the two of us…I mean you haven’t been out in a while besides I want to give hime a chance to get to know his Aunt Candace” Kayla said strolling up behind Nylan.

“But I thought we were going to tell him about the baby and us…”Kayla put her hand up blocking any further discussion from Nylan.

“Go…we’re not talking about this anymore” Nylan complied, “Have a nice day Shane” Kayla said before walking away. Shane snickered at Nylan inability to get any word in with Kayla.

“Us…there’s an us again” Shane asked.

“We’re a family yes but anything else…” Nylan shook her head no and Shane smiled why was she so happy they weren’t getting back together.

“Alright then…see you tonight” Shane said turning and leaving. She passed Alice on her way out. “I’m in hurry but Milk…tonight make sure you and Dana show up”.

“Yeah” was Alice’s response she would be there but she wasn’t sure about Dana. She made her way to the table that Kayla, Nylan, Isiah, and someone she couldn’t quite see were sitting.

“Hey Alice” Lara sweet smile gave Alice chills at this very moment. Alice managed to squeeze out a half hearted hi before finally reaching the table where the mysterious woman appeared to be Candace the carpenter.

“Does my day get any worse” Alice said under her breath before smiling and saying hi to everyone at the table, her phone rang simultaneously with her thoughts, “Yes…what…oh my god…okay thanks”. She hung up the phone and jumped up from the table.

“What’s wrong” Nylan asked.

“The guy…Nash…he’s dead” Alice said.



“Hello Ms McKutcheon” Loughlin said as he approached Shane from out of nowhere outside of Lather.

“What do you want” Shane asked stepping around the detective in an attempt to enter her place of employment.

“I want you to come down to the station and answer a few questions about the night of Ambrosia Neil’s murder” he said stepping into Shane’s path.

“Look I thought I told you before I don’t know anything I didn’t hear anything I didn’t see anything…I wasn’t there” Shane responded moving around the man once again.

“See that’s where you’re wrong…we have a witness that places you at her suite that night” Shane stopped dead in her tracks and stared back at Loughlin, “see and you could come with me voluntarily or involuntarily” he said swinging his cuffs.


“How long have you known this Tina and you didn’t tell me” Bette shouted unable to register what Tina was saying to her.

“I just found out when I went to see the detective…they put me under hypnosis and…” Tina struggled with her words.

“You went to the police…oh my god” Bette’s mind was swelling with all the new information.

“I had to find out what happened and…and…” Tina began to cry. Bette ran to her side wrapping her arms around her wife. “Now I know…I went there to help Nylan and Shane…I wanted to make it up to Nylan for hurting her…I was going to try and talk her into dropping the charges but when I got there I seen Shane and…” Tina broke down even more.

“It’s okay baby” Bette rocked her back and forth until she fell asleep.


The Planet

“Hey I just saw Alice and Nylan outside in the parking lot they looked really intense” Dana said seating herself, it pained her to see Alice with someone else, she wondered if anything was going on between the two of them.

“Yeah…well” Kayla began wondering why Dana hadn’t just stopped and talked to Alice herself but she pushed the thought to the back of her mind for another time.

“Here you go” Lara said placing Dana’s order next to her, “so you coming to Milk tonight” she asked.

“That depends” Dana flashed a cocky smile, “are you gonna be there”. Kayla looked at Dana she wasn’t the smartest person in the world but it was obvious Dana was flirting with Lara.

“A girls gotta have some fun” Lara added slapping Dana on the shoulder not paying to much attention to her previous comment, she turned and walked away. Dana watched her hips sway to and forth as if putting her in a spell. Tonight she was getting into some trouble…if she was lucky.
