    The Davies house

Walking out of her room with her guitar in hand, Ashley makes her way down the stairs to grab some breakfast, walking into the kitchen seeing her mom and dad at the table already eating.
Ashley makes herself a bowl of cereal and sits down with them, sitting in a comfortable silence as they eat.
“Dad” ashley ask’s some what nervous.
    “yeh baby girl?”
“erm…I was…I was wondering. What did you do to get mom to fall in love with you?”
she ask’s not taking her eye’s off her bowl.
The question takes both Raife and Christine off guard, but thinking back to how they got together and the wondeful life they have started, they can’t help but smile at the memory they hold so close.
“Well to be honnest….I made a complete ass of myself!” He says’ laughing, as does Christine.
“It’s true sweetie, your famous father made a complete ass out of himself trying to get my attention. Why do you ask sweetie?” Christine ask’s lovingly.
“well….I was…I was just, ya know wondering is all.” She says trying to get the sentence out, even when shes around her parents she still finds herself getting nervous.
Looking to his daughter with a loving smile on his face, he place’s his hand upon her’s getting her attention. Giving his daughter a warm smile he say’s with love and confidence “Ashley, what I did to get your mom to notice me wasn’t just luck. I’m a firm believer that anyone can fall in love, take away the physcial apperance of the person put gender aside your left with the heart and soul of a person. It’s those thing’s that will make someone fall in love with you, you can do anything you want to get someone’s attention and the truth is that’s the first step, being noticed. Take down the barrier you have don’t be so nervous, If I’d stayed like that I don’t think I would of got your mother to notice me. Believe me when I say this, you are a fantastic loving beautiful person with a beautiful soul….and Spencer is lucky to have your heart, even if she doesn’t know it.”he says to his daughter. Confussion is now plasterd on the young girl’s face, she didn’t know her dad knew she liked Spencer, but she’s not surprised whenever Spencer’s round thier usually playing Xbox or Guitar Hero.
“Sweet heart your father’s right, but you can’t make someone love you. All It take’s is one thing to get someone’s attention and that will always stick with them. What you do from there is upto you, Nothing Is impossible…you are a davies after all.” her mother says grinning at her. She had to admitt she hadn’t expected this when she planned on having this conversation this morning, but the conversation has shed some light in a way for Ashley. For the first time in a while she feels more comfortable and confident about the forth coming talent show and the only sure way of conveying her feelings or at least letting them be known.
“Thanks, this has actually made me feel better about all this, especially the talent show. You two are gonna come, aren’t you?” she ask’s hopefully.
“Of course we are, do you seriously think we are gonna miss your sister and you preforming.” Her mother says’ with a huge smile plasterd on her face, “Yeh Kyla’s dancing is gonna be so good, but I must admitt Im proud of you for putting you fear’s aside and performing.” Raife say’s placing a kiss upon his daughters head.
“Thanks, that really mean’s alot.” Looking down at her watching “I better shoot otherwise I’ll be late.” She says’ getting up and cleaning up her dish, she kisses her parents goodbye and heads to pick up Aiden and Kyla at Aiden’s house.
