    “My boyfriend cheats on me, I hate my friends, The only reason I do anything is so it will go on my transcript, to get into that perfect college. Problem is I don’t even know what I want to do with my life passed getting accepted. All I know is that I want to get as far from here as possible.”

     

    “come on baby, it will be fun. I don’t want to go with out you. I want to show you off, you’re my girl”

     

    When he said those words, it was hard for the younger brunette to decline the invitation. She remembered when she wasn’t his girl just a short while before and the brown haired boy continually chased her. To say that Ashley didn’t somewhat like it would be a lie, she gave him a hard time at first, ignoring his phone calls and avoiding him when she saw him. For Aiden the chase became his obsession, he knew the wickedly beautiful brunette was out of his league but he was determined to make her his. She gave in after three weeks, she could no longer hide the smiles that he caused when he would bring her flowers or deny the tingly sensations in her palm when he would try to hold her hand. They went to separate schools which is one of the reasons Ashley agreed, after dating the majority of the male population at her high school it was time to branch out and hopefully meet a decent guy from another school.

     

    “I haven’t seen him” one of the girls replied after a bit of silence

     

    The girls didn’t like the outsider much, they didn’t like her striking beauty that none of them could compare to, they didn’t like the fact that she was trying to become their friends or that she was dating a guy that they’ve all shared something with at one point or another. He never spent half the amount of time or put in even a quarter of the effort in with those girls as he did with the brown eyed girl before them. They resented that and they resented her for it.

     

    After a small sigh and a quick pardon from the girls, the brunette started to make her way around the party trying to locate her boyfriend. He was last seen about a half hour before when he announced he was going to get another drink, she figured he stopped to talk along the way with some buddies. He was a social butterfly, you couldn’t get him to shut up when he started and everyone tended to flock to him. Another reason why it was so easy for the brunette to get along with him and fall in step so easily, she was similar to him in that way, she knew where he was coming from.

    2. you’re so a brat! I can’t believe you didn’t tell me! You’re lucky that I really like this story. and I’m so glad that Ashley is dealing with things, hopefully she’ll start making some changes. And I can’t believe Spencer huged her…that was really sweet. And I have to agree with SoNFANFOREVER, the mets don’t just suck, they blow too!

    4. fantastic as always. it’s official I’m addicted to this one already! glad ash is starting to wise up a bit and realizing she needs to be herself and that spence is helping the process along. I’m also interested in what else is in that box. great update, pms please!

    5. Another brilliant chapter…*sigh* I love your stories! So as I know nothing about sport and couldn’t tell you if the Mets were a basket, baseball or football team (forgive me I’m English!) I’m just going to ask for more …I want to know what’s in the box too!! Oh and a sequel to Heartless!?!? I’m doing my happy dance :0)
