Spencer awoke, eyes slowly creeping open and shutting again quickly when they spotted light, and was instantly disoriented by the feeling of hot breath against her neck, a slender arm across her waist, and strands of brunette hair tickling her arm. God, did it feel good.
The blonde knew how she had ended up here – she crawled back up the bed in a state of shock some time after Patrick left and immediately passed out, her mind reeling with his last words – however, she had no idea how or when Ashley had joined her.
Her thoughts immediately jumped to Aiden. He could come in any minute and see this! As good and natural as this felt, what was Ashley thinking?!?!
Her eyes popped open, this time for good, blue orbs pained by the brightness of the room, but ignoring it for the moment.
“Ash!”
A mumbled grunt was all she received in reply.
“Ash!” This time Spencer accompanied her whispered yell with a solid shake of the brunette’s arm.
Spencer heard a slightly more coherent, “Too early,” escape from the lips she was just kissing hours ago, but the body that was currently making her right arm fall asleep simply pulled the blanket up over its head and curled up even more.
With a loud sigh of frustration, the blonde swiftly propped herself up on both arms, consequently flipping Ashley over with enough force to cause her to roll her off the edge of the bed.
A loud “Umph” followed by an obviously annoyed “What the hell, Spence?” was the next thing the blonde heard as she saw a disheveled looking brunette peeking over the side of the bed.
“Aiden!” Spencer hissed.
“Okay…” Ashley yawned as she threw her arms on the bed, “For future reference it would be great if when we wake up together the first thing you think of could be something other than my boyfriend.”
Blue eyes rolled, “I’m serious Ash! What would have happened if he walked in here? I mean, it was great waking up with you this morning, amazing even, but that was until I realized that your…whatever…could come in here at any moment!”
Lifting her body up from the floor and crawling back up on the bed, a smirk appeared on Ashley’s face. “Amazing, huh?”

What in the heck could have possibly happened to Ashley in the few minutes that she was in that bathroom? Damn Paula and her stupid phone call! I’m guessing Ashley saw that Patrick’s stuff was gone and freaked the hell out. That puts a lot of pressure on her to choose between Aiden and Spencer. I could be wrong though. Love this story, loved the update!
ok lets go with insertcleveranswer’s guess. that it was just cuz patricks stuff is gone! k? no baby for ashley. NOOO baby for ashley. at least not until her and spencer are married :-D! and no engagement ring from aiden…because this is definitely NOT the time damn it.
