    The girls go to Kyla’s play.

    CHAPTER THIRTY SIX

     

    SPENCER’S POV:

    It’s the night of Kyla’s play, and I’m up in Ashley’s room waiting for her to finish getting ready. Even though the play was just at our school we still wanted to dress nice for it.

    Spencer: Baby come on, we have to pick up Chelsea in ten minutes.

    Ashley: I’m almost finished.

    Ashley walks out of the bathroom a couple minutes later.

    Spencer: Wow, you look amazing.

    Ashley: Thanks baby. You look pretty sexy yourself.

    Spencer: You’re such a charmer.

    Spencer pulls Ashley towards her and brings her into a tender kiss. Ashley smiles into the kiss and caresses Spencer’s face. They were soon interrupted by the sound of Spencer’s phone going off. Spencer pulls away and looks at her phone.

    Spencer: It’s Chelsea. She is wondering where we are. We should get going. If we miss a second of the play Kyla will kill us.

    Ashley pulls Spencer back to her.

    Ashley: How is Kyla going to know if we are a little late? (Ashley kisses Spencer’s neck.) It’s going to be dark in the auditorium, she won’t see us come in. (Ashley moves to Spencer’s jaw line.)

    Spencer: True, but we promised Kyla we would be there to watch the entire play.

    Ashley sighs.

    Ashley: Alright. Let’s go.

    Ashley and Spencer pick up Chelsea and show up to the play 5 minutes before the curtain opens. When the play ends Ashley, Spencer, and Chelsea wait for Kyla. Kyla comes out of the dressing room after changing and sees the three girls waiting for her.

    Chelsea: Hey there’s our superstar!

    Kyla: Hey guys!

    Kyla goes up to the girls and hugs them.

    Spencer: Here these are for you.

    Spencer hands Kyla a dozen roses that they all pitched in and bought for her.

    Kyla: Aww thank you. I’m so glad you guys came. Did you enjoy the play?

    Spencer: Yeah, you were awesome Kyla.

    Ashley: I can see an Oscar in your future.

    Kyla: Thanks!

    After congratulating Kyla the girls left the school and went to the Davies house.

    The girls enter the house.

    Kyla: So what was your favorite part? Did you like the ending okay? I kind of messed up on one of my lines. Could you tell? I was so afraid-

    1. yes!! first comment!!! i thought that was very cute. I like that Ashley is so supportive of Kyla. Ash and Spencer are adorable as always and I like Chelsea in this too. It’s a great post!!! write more soon, i don’t know how i could live without it. I am wondering when some of ash’s “dirty laundry” (so to speak) is going to arise though. I loved Kyla’s line at the end too…c’mon, we all know there’s no sleeping going on, i’m glad Kyla’s not oblivious!!! pms!! please!!
